Chapter 70

After getting beaten up by Team Phase 15 minutes ago, Retasu is lying on the ground in pain inside Team Phase’s room. She sees her briefcase opened with her stuffs thrown to the ground. She is exploding into tears.
Retasu stands up and tries to leave the room. She notices that it’s locked, and holds her left arm when she feels pain.
Retasu: …Ow…I shouldn’t have joined. I did not want Rin to hate on me.
She sees the lock switch and presses it. She gets out from her room, leaving her stuffs behind to head straight to Yuki’s house.
When Retasu gets our from the room, she falls to the floor from there.
Shirou and Leo sees her on the ground and runs to her.
Shirou: Retasu! Are you all right? You look beaten up.
Retasu is seen crying.
Retasu: AWW! Yes they did. (snorting)
Leo: Who?
He looks at the sign on top of the door.
Leo: Oh. Team Phase. How?
Retasu: All of them did this and left me there. Can you guys take me to Yuki’s house? I’ll give you guys directions.
Shirou: Sure. Let’s carry her.
Leo: All right.
They all went to Yuki’s house. By the door, the boys make Retasu try to stand and Leo knocks the door.
Ryo opens it and sees them.
Ryo: Hey. Retasu?! What happened?
Shirou: Can you get Yuki?
Ryo: Sure. YUKI! COME HERE!
Yuki comes downstairs and sees Retasu with her uniform ruined.
Yuki: Woah! What happened?
They all are at Yuki’s room and Retasu told them the whole story.
Retasu: They all hurt me. They’re so good at figuring out who is behind the robbery. I felt pressured of what is right and what is wrong when thinking about you guys and Rin. I had to tell them and I never wanted to keep something away from Rin.
Yuki: I know how important she is to you as a best friend. I can’t blame you.
Shirou: Is Rin still stubborn?
Retasu: To Yuki and them. Oww. My arm. I want Rin to know about this, but if they know she does, they will so something worse to her.
Ryo: Hmm.
Yuki: Well, it’s time that they are starting to show who they actually are.
Leo: So have you decide to tell her or keep it away?
Retasu: As best friends, I don’t want to keep it away from her, but also, if she knows, she wants to quit and they will somehow treat her worse.
Shirou: Retasu. I know Rin has been kinda selfish to your friends right now, but if you tell her this, she will feel sorry. Even if she doesn’t see that she needs her other friends right now, she wants our help.
Retasu: (sniff) You think so?
Shirou: Yes. Even if she will know that you did lie to her, she will understand if you tell her the story, and the rest of us will help her, no matter what it takes.
Leo: But how would they try to harm Rin if she knows what they just did?
Yuki: They’re pretty sneaky. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. They got permission for all the surveillance, detectives, and knowing everything how the school works, based on what we read from their secret files.
Retasu: Ow. I want you all to make sure Rin stays safe.
Shirou: We will. After all, I really like her.
Yuki: Despite arguing with her in recent weeks, I don’t want her to be beaten up.
Retasu: Yeah, considering how you protected Minoru since you met him.
Yuki: Yeah, and we gotta do this together.
Leo: I’m in. I’m already annoyed by them for asking too many times about the robbery.
Shirou: While we all think, I think you should get home. Actually, go to Rin’s place first.
Retasu: That’s my thoughts.
Ryo: You still need help?
Retasu: I still feel sore, but it’s less, so I can walk better now.
Yuki: Well, good.
Retasu left and went to knock at Rin’s door.
Rin opens the door and sees Retasu with her uniform ruined.
Rin: RETASU?! Wh-What happened?
Retasu: Rin, please don’t hate me.
She burst into tears.
Retasu: I WORKED UNDERCOVER ON THE CLUB AND I ACTUALLY WORK WITH YUKI AND THEM, AND I DID DRESS AS A FAT LADY AT FRIDAY, AND TEAM PHASE FOUND OUT THAT I TOOK THEIR FILES, AND THEY WERE MEETING ME ON THEIR ROOM, AND I COULDN’T DO IT BECAUSE I FELT BAD FOR KEEPING ALL THIS AWAY FROM YOU AND I HAD TO TELL THEM THE TRUTH, AND LOOK WHAT THEY DONE TO ME! THEY ALL BEAT ME UP AND SAYS IF I TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS, YOU WILL GET BEATEN UP EVEN WORSE! RIN! PLEASE DON’T HATE ME!
Rin: Uuggh? Really? Wow.
RETASU: ALTHOUGH, YUKI DID DRESS UP AT MONDAY TO RETURN THE FILES.
Rin: Calm down, Retasu. Wow. Am I really that big of a jerk?
Retasu: How do you feel?
Rin: I’m so sorry for having you in this position.
Retasu: Yeah, but apologize later on. I gotta get home.
Rin: Wait! Did you went to tell Yuki?
Retasu: Yes, along with your boyfriend and Leo, who helped me get there.
Rin: Woah! Shirou isn’t my boyfriend yet, but I like him still. Umm, so I can’t really leave the club unless if they want to beat me up.
Retasu: Just think what’s right. Think about me and Yuki, and all the friends. I gotta go.
Rin: Okay.
She left.
Rin went to her own balcony and drops a few tears.
Rin: What kind of a person am I? Oh no. I didn’t want this to happen. I should’ve listen to Yuki more. I’m such an idiot.
Rin daydreams to the junior high days where she is hanging out with Retasu.
Retasu: As best friends, we don’t keep secrets to each other. We share it!
Rin: Yep! BFFs along with Yuki!
Retasu: I won’t let you down in my entire life.
Back to her self, she face-palms.
Rin: (sniff) She has the right to keep things away from me, because I frighten everyone. She still wants to be friends with Yuki and them, and I shouldn’t have yelled at them. I will not forgive Team Phase for beating up my long term best friend!
She stays at her balcony for a while.
The next day, Rin walks along to school, and when she entered the gate, she is heading to around the wall to take a seat. She turned to the corner and hides between the wall and the seat.
Rin: I gotta be strong. I can’t let them get away with this. Not all the things I’ve done. Only if I didn’t join, none of this would’ve happen.
She stands up.
Rin: I won’t back down. I gotta be brave and settle this.
As she walks out, she bumps into Shirou.
Rin: Uhh, Shirou?
He picks her up.
Shirou: Hey Rin. So, you hear the story?
Rin: Yes. I want to be brave, but I don’t want these idiots to hurt me or my friends. I know things will get worse if they know Retasu told me about it.
Shirou: Have you thought of a plan?
Rin: I plan to quit, but most likely, they won’t leave me alone.
Shirou: Well, Yuki and us had tried to come up with ideas, but we don’t know what is gonna be the exact scenario.
Rin: Yeah. Umm, I don’t mind if you lied to me if me joining Team Phase was the right thing.
Shirou: Of course I was, because you ignored your friends besides Retasu.
Rin: I know. It’s all my fault. However, I won’t let this continue.
Shirou: Good. At least you’re starting to do the right thing.
Rin: Yeah. Well, I’m free tomorrow and you wanna hang out? More than friends?
Shirou: A date? I would. I will on one condition. You go to Retasu’s house with all your friends and apologize to all of them, and if this goes well, them I’ll go out with a strawberry colored girl this weekend.
Rin: Hehe. I do like strawberries. All right. I’ll do that. In the mean time, I need to quit the club and not be Kaname’s friend anymore.
Shirou: You do that, and if you are in trouble, call me to the rescue.
Rin: All right, but let’s see if I can handle this.
Shirou: Good.
A while later, Takahashi went to his locker and sees Yuki next to it. He is carrying Retasu’s briefcase.
Takahashi: Hey Yuki! I got her stuff. All of it, even her ripped homework.
Yuki: Cool. You know what to do when school’s over.
Takahashi: Yeah. I feel sorry for her. I love her, and I want to help her over the weekend.
Yuki: That’s good. Also, stay in her house. We will come later on.
Takahashi: Ok.
They see Rin walking.
Yuki: Hey Rin. Did you hear what…
Rin: Shh! Tell me later. I am quitting. I’m doing my plan.
She walks and they watch her leave.
Yuki: Most likely, they will want to beat her up after school, but we already have a plan. We talked.
Takahashi: Cool. I can’t wait until you tell us the story.
Rin went to Team Phase’s room. She sees Hiroshi.
Rin: Hey.
Hiroshi: Hey Rin. So, wanna hear your duties for next week? We got activities booked.
Rin: Listen. I don’t appreciate what you guys did to Retasu. I’m resigning.
Hiroshi: She told you, right.
Rin: Well, I’m doing right things for now on! I know she lied to me, and I know it’s wrong for her to take that file and give it to Yuki, but…
Hiroshi: Rin! You cannot just resign! You will have a meeting with us, either today, next week at Monday, Tuesday, or any day.
Rin: No way! I’m quitting right now! Look! I’m leaving!
She opens the door.
Rin: Think you can catch me when school is opened! Fools!
She left.
Hiroshi: Rin! I cannot let her quit!
Later, she went to the classroom before class has started.
Kaname walks to Rin and talks to her.
Kaname: Rin. I got Prepara’s latest music box! We can listen to it on our next duty.
Rin: We’ll talk during a break.
Kaname gives her a strange look.
Kaname: All right then.
She walks away, and Yuki and Minoru are already at their seat and see the while thing.
Minoru: Looks like the suspect told her partner already.
Yuki: Yeah. That’s exactly.
Later during break, Rin went to a student council room to find herself paper clips.
Kaname went in all mad.
Kaname: Rin! We heard you quit!
Rin: That’s right.
Kaname: She shouldn’t have told you!
Minoru sees the door open and watches them. Shirou walks by and sees him by the door.
Shirou: Hey Minoru. Oh dear. She’s bothering Rin.
Minoru: Just as she quits.
Rin and Kaname continues yelling at each other.
Rin: Also, since you beat up my best friend, Pripara’s music time is cancelled! I’m not your friend anymore!
Kaname: You cannot quit! We won’t let you!
Rin: On yeah! You have anything to stop me?
Kaname: But what about all the times we had fun together?
Rin: We did, but it’s over, traitor!
Kaname: YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS!
Rin: I am!
Kaname bangs at the wall.
Rin: So childish! You can’t get over the fact that I’m quitting.
She keeps banging.
Rin: All right then. Just stay that way. I’ll go.
As soon as she turns, Kaname grabs a binder and spank Rin with it on her bottom.
Rin: HEEEHH!!!!
Shirou: RIN!
Rin: NOW YOU GOT ME SO FRUSTRATED!!!
She gives a big slap to Kaname and fell to the ground.
Minoru: Woah!
Shirou: Dang.
Kaname is seen crying. She stands up and runs away.
Rin: No one does that to me! Ow, it hurts.
Minoru and Shirou went in the room to talk to Rin.
Shirou: Rin, that was amazing.
Rin: Argg, yeah. That slap is pretty strong.
Minoru: We’re happy that you quit.
Shirou: So you’re gonna do fine?
Rin: Maybe. I’m gonna be busy for lunch. I’m going to the office.
Shirou: For what?
Rin: To tell them about them. We can’t let them get away with it.
Shirou: Let’s see if that work out well.
Later when lunch break has started, Rin went to the office and started waiting by the lounge. She heard the principle talking on the phone.
Principle: …she should’ve reported to us after it happened. … … The uniform will be delivered to your home next week, Until then, she isn’t allowed to come with a ripped uniform. … … We’ll discuss to the group who beat her up yesterday after school. … All right.
Rin notices it involves Retasu.
The principle sees only Rin waiting. He calls her up and she went to the principle’s office.
Principle: May I help you?
Rin: Umm, I feel threaten by a group call Team Phase. They plan to beat me up.
Principle: I just got a call from a parent who also spoke about them.
Rin: Yeah, they told Retasu if I know about this and if I quit, they plan to beat me up too.
Principle: Do you have evidence if they said that?
Rin: What? I thought you got a call about them! They are actually gonna go after me!
Principle: Rin, the only evidence I got is from her parents. As for you, do you have evidence about you and them?
Rin: I quit and they want to do something to me. I don’t have evidence because they’re real sneaky.
Principle: Look, it’s not polite to just accuse others without evidence.
Rin: But this is true!
Principle: Rin, I only believe it when I see it, see the evidence, or hear several voices about this.
Rin: So you are gonna let them do this to me? This is not how the office system works!
Principle: It’s not polite to yell at the principle with no simple reason! I do believe about your friend’s incident, but this sounds more like you are accusing them without any connections.
Rin: Well, how about if they told you in private if they are gonna do something to you? Would you want people to believe you? I’m not lying!
Principle: I can’t answer that. Just get out before you stay after school today.
Rin: Hrmf!
She leaves and talks to Shirou by the front gate with the gate closed.
Rin: His policies are really hypocritical! He won’t do anything to them. He’s only gonna talk to them about Retasu, but that’s it.
Shirou: Darn it. Well, since they are recognized as a group who helps the school system, it is harder to report them.
Rin: Yeah. I don’t know what to do now. They might get me later on, maybe next week, who knows.
Shirou: Don’t forget we’re with you. If you are in danger, we’ll help you. Besides, you can give them a slap.
Rin: Yeah, a girl needs to protect herself. Not just that, but I want backup.
Shirou: You will. We have several plans to get you out of this.
Rin: Hopefully, we will be able to stop them.
Shirou: And if we got several evidence, then we can show it to the principle and show him who’s boss.
Rin: Definitely. Also, before I went in to talk to him, he was on a phone call from Retasu’s parents. He only believed her incident because she’s absent and beatened. Also, I heard that she will get her new uniform next week.
Shirou: Oh dear. It sounds like the parents are not taking this easy.
Rin: And that’s why Team Phase needs to be done about this. If not, we’ll bust them someday to the public.
Shirou: Yeah.
Later when lunch break is almost over, Rin went to the bathroom and look herself in the mirror. She grabs her tiny hair clip and tries to put in on. Two dark people came out from a bathroom stall and we fade to black screen.
At the classroom, Yuki and Minoru didn’t see Rin coming in.
Minoru: I hope she’s not late. We saw her talk to Shirou a while ago by the staircase.
Yuki: Hmm. Maybe she’s still talking to the staffs or something.
Takigawa-sensei comes in the class.
Takigawa: Ok class! We’re gonna need to open the Algebra textbook at Chapter 11.
Hiroshi comes in and gives him the note.
Takigawa: Hmm. Rin has a meeting with the principle. She’s gonna be in the office for the rest of the day. Well, all right. One of us will deliver her next homework.
Hiroshi: Ok.
He leaves, and Yuki watches him leave.
Yuki and Minoru looks at each other. She shakes her head and Minoru seems pretty sad.
Yuki: (I bet they got her already. How are they getting away with all of this?)
By the door of Team Phase’s room, Hiroshi locks the door, and starts walking.
Hiroshi: Good job girls for our special delivery.
Inside the room, there is a big box that has Rin trapped inside and tied.
Rin: LET ME OUT! HELP ME! I’M LATE FOR MY CLASS!
She tries moving, but she is unable to get out.
In the next break, Yuki and Minoru goes by their door and Yuki tries opening it.
Yuki: It’s locked.
Minoru: They might not be inside yet.
Yuki: But I bet they have Rin there.
They went to the gym for their class, and they see Shirou waiting for Yuki.
Yuki: Shirou!
Shirou: Hey guys. Where is Rin?
Yuki: She hasn’t came in to our class since lunch.
Shirou: What happened?
Minoru: Not sure, but Hiroshi handed our teacher a note that says that she is gonna be in the office for the test if the day.
Yuki: But I bet they have something to do with this.
Shirou: Yeah. I don’t think they will be attacking her just yet.
Yuki: That’s what we thought. Lila and Kaname are already at the gym. They’re by the corner.
Shirou: Well, we still have multiple plans, but one of our plans that we thought fits will be picked.
Yuki: Yep. Exactly.
After gym class is over, Lila stays inside the gym locker to make sure everyone leaves so that they will have time to set up their plan.
Lila: Everyone left. That means we’re late.
Kaname: And that’s good, so that most people will leave the school and no game is being held today.
Lila: Now let’s go.
They went to their room. They see Hiroshi and the rest.
Hiroshi: Who left the door open before we went in?
Mizuro: My mistake. I came for my handkerchief and I forgot to lock it before our final class. Sorry.
Touko: You got to be more careful.
Mizuro: I closed it at least. It was right before class has started. I felt like I did lock it.
Hiroshi: Enough with that. No one really came, which means we can open the box.
Lila and Touko pulls the box and takes off the books from the top.
Rin came out from it and they pull her from the box.
Rin: LET ME GO! YOU GUYS ARE INSANE!
Hiroshi: Nice one, Lila and Mizuro.
Lila: I did most of the help.
Mizuro: She slapped my hand so hard. It is still showing marks.
Kaname: Shows you how I feel this morning! Right Rin?!
Rin: YOU DESERVED IT! LET ME GO!
Hiroshi: Rin! We knew your friend will tell you what we did to her yesterday, but aren’t you shocked that she lied to you all along?
Rin: IT WAS FOR OUR OWN GOOD! It was my fault that I lead her to this.
Hiroshi: No! You slapped our member away from you and you want to quit helping us!
Rin: You guys are really the evil ones! You guys pretended to be good and tricked me!
Touko: Well, duh!
Hiroshi: And all the files your friend took last week, she shared it to her friends, like Yuki and we must stop all of you!
Rin: No! Yuki cannot be stopped. She never fears from any of you.
Hiroshi: Silence!
Rin: …
Hiroshi: Rin! We are unstoppable! You will feel like how your friend felt yesterday NOW!
He pushes tied Rin to the floor.
Rin: AHH!
She drops few tears.
Yuki and Leo came out from under the desk and starts fighting all if them.
Hiroshi: YUKI! HOW DID YOU?!
Yuki pushes him towards the wall and Leo flips two of them.
Lila: GET OUT OF HERE, DORK!
Rin: Yuki!
Hiroshi tries yo fight Yuki, and Yuki dodges it and picks up Rin and hold her.
Yuki: LEO! Retreat!
Lila: NO WAY! You guys aren’t going anywhere.
Yuki jumps and kicks Mizuro and Touko to the ground. Leo pushes Lila and Hiroshi.
Kaname grabs Rin’s foot and Theo pulls her out and he jumps everywhere while Yuki tries to open the door.
Lila slaps Yuki’s back and Yuki does a 360 kick while holding Rin.
Rin: Careful!
Yuki opens the door and Leo sees it.
Yuki: Let’s go!
Yuki and Leo leaves on different directions to have half of the team chase each of them.
Rin: Yuki! Thanks for saving me!
Yuki: We’ll discuss about that later! We’re not done yet!
Lila, Kaname, and Hiroshi chases after Yuki while Mizuro and Touko chases Leo.
Yuki sees that she is close to the staircase, and sees if she can jump to the bottom stairs.
Yuki: I’m jumping to the lower floor instead of the stairs.
Rin: Yuki!
Yuki jumps over and lands to near the end of the stairs.
Rin: Ahh! So intense!
Yuki leaves the stairs and she is heading to the left, but she throws Rin to the right before leaving.
Rin: Yuki!
She is thrown and Shirou catches her.
Shirou: What’s up?
Rin blushes.
Rin: Umm. Let’s leave.
Shirou went to the janitor’s closet.
Yuki is running in the hallway and sees Leo coming ahead while they are chasing after them, and they are heading to the main entrance.
Yuki: Leo! Now let’s pass the front gate!
Leo: You got it!
Hiroshi: You guys ain’t leaving!
Touko: We’re still getting you guys!
Lila: You both are on our watch now!
They both run to the exit and are leaving the front gate.
Hiroshi: We’re not giving up!
Yuki: We’ll see who’s the quitter!
Yuki and Leo exit the front gate and they both separate again and even team phase split up.
Minoru is hiding by the bush and sees Leo exiting with them chasing them.
Minoru text Shirou that they left.
Shirou sees the text and responds Ok.
Shirou: Let’s go!
He picks up Rin and starts leaving.
Minoru sees Shirou and Rin coming.
Minoru: Hey!
Shirou: So which way does Yuki want us to go to Retasu’s place?
Minoru: We first take the hill area and then we go straight to her house.
Rin: Ok, good.
Meanwhile, Yuki goes to a plaza of where she worked and goes in the giant mall and went to the gaming section. She sees Hiroshi, Lila, and Mizuro walking at the sidewalk outside from the window. They talk, and then they decide to keep looking for her.
Leo messages Yuki and says that he lost them.
Yuki decides to sneak out from the plaza without them knowing and heads to Retasu’s house.
She went by the door and sees Shirou.
Yuki: Hey. That was some adventure.
Shirou: That was a brilliant plan you got there. I cut the ropes off from Rin.
Yuki: Good. Leo is heading home.
Shirou: I see. You’re just in time.
In Retasu’s room, Yuki, Minoru, Shirou, Retasu, Takahashi, Jen, and Ken are sitting and Rin is at the center of the room.
Rin is starting to make her apology.
Rin: I’m such a fool! Yuki! I should’ve listen to you. I just wanted to attend a club of where I could help the school and thought it could open up my future. I was fooled! I shouldn’t get angry at you for trying to protect me.
Yuki: But I still supported you for your choices, but not that way.
Rin: Yeah, and I apologize for the way I acted to you since I joined! You’re really smart and supportive, and I’m glad I have you as a best friend.
Yuki: That’s right.
Rin: Yeah. Minoru, I am really sorry for how I acted that day. I shouldn’t get mad at you for being on her side. It was no reason at all! I should’ve thought better. I did deserve getting yelled at for doing such a very stupid thing! I secretly felt guilty after that.
Minoru: It’s okay. I wanted you to realize that we’re friends and learn that we really support you, and we want to help each other.
Rin: You’re right.
She turns to Shirou.
Rin: Shirou, I an sorry that you had to see me like that for couple of weeks. I didn’t want you to think I am a different person. It’s not me, and I should’ve realized that sooner.
Shirou: It’s fine. I still want you to feel better and head to the right path.
Rin: You’re right.
She turns to Retasu.
Rin: And last, but most important, Retasu. I know now that you had to lie behind my back and I made you feel like if you’re still friends with Yuki and them, you would think I will be mad at you. I am so sorry for what that has lead to. I know you want to side with Yuki and them before and still wants to hang with me, and I’m glad now that you were working undercover. However, I let this happen. You felt pressured and want to stay safe around me and the other friends. (cries) You got beat up and if I haven’t been a pain in the butt, you wouldn’t be worried or hurt.
Retasu: It’s all right. I forgive you. I wanted to work undercover anyway. You don’t have to worry about me getting beat up. It’s not really your fault. They found out.
Rin: I see. So do the rest of you forgive me?
Yuki: Well, I’ll be the judge of that. Just sit at the chair there and I’ll do the wishful grant of forgiveness.
Rin: Fair enough. I’ll go right ahead.
She walks to the chair and sits down. A fart noise is heard and shocks Rin.
Rin: HHUUUHHH?!
Everyone starts laughing at her.
Rin looks under the thin cushion and sees a whoopee cushion.
Rin: Ohh! YUKI! Really?!
She is embarrassed at front of everyone in the room, and sees Shirou laughing.
Rin: Come on. It’s not funny, guys!
Yuki: Yes it is.
Rin: Why did you have to…
She kinda smiles a bit.
Rin: Well, I think it’s pretty funny. I did deserve that.
She starts laughing with everyone.
Yuki: Yeah. Now we forgive you.
Rin: Great.
Shirou: It’s looking nice.
Rin: Thanks everyone for forgiving me. I am glad you guys planned this and saved me from Team Phase.
Shirou: It’s because we cared about you. All of us. We didn’t want you to end up in the same story as your friend did.
Rin: Well, I’m no damsel, but I couldn’t help myself when they caught me from the restroom and trapped me in the box at their room.
Minoru: At least you tried getting out.
Rin: By slapping both Kaname and Mizuro for touching me.
Yuki: They need it. We still have the pics of their secret files.
Rin: Cool. I want to know more about it.
They talk and see the evidence that was seen from the secret files, and they had fun spending time together.
The next day, Rin and Shirou are at the park, sitting at the bench.
Rin: Thanks for getting me some of these special candies.
Shirou: You earned it. So how was your life since last evening?
Rin: Pretty good. Me and my friends talked online and we’re back to normal.
Shirou: That’s great.
Rin: I’m glad you are involved in the rescuing plan.
Shirou: We care about you, and your friend, Yuki, made brilliant plans. You’re good friends with her.
Rin: Yeah. Well, she doesn’t do typical hobbies of mine, but she’s a fun partying person.
Shirou: So you have a lot of diverse friends. Interesting.
Rin: Yeah.
Shirou: So are you athletic?
Rin: Me? Not really. I kinda did better than when I started high school, given the slap to Kaname, but still not really.
She then looks down and blushes.
Rin: Umm. Remember when I was by your Christmas tree?
Shirou: Yes. It was strange how you appeared there by morning.
Rin: It was so embarrassing that I slept by your tree and I had no idea how I got there. I never thought I would be a christmas present.
Shirou: I didn’t expect that either, but it’s okay. But your warm heart is the gift.
Rin: Hehe. (blushes) I, umm, I am glad we met.
Shirou: Me to. I heard you are into PriPara and Pretty Rhythm series.
Rin: Yes! Those series. I collected Prism Stones when I was a kid. They changed it when I was a freshmen. Those were the days.
Shirou: At least you have them so that you would see the designs in it.
Rin: True. I also collected the Bly-Ray releases since then. I like the main characters of each series.
Shirou: Cool! What about Callings or Love Mix?
Rin: Them too! I didn’t know you watch them.
Shirou: I did when I was taking care of my little sister. It was fun.
Rin: Cool. So do you want to head to the arcade? I got some Aikatsu! collectables to play with.
Shirou: Sure. Let’s go!
They run and head to the arcade and have fun for the entire day.

Next Chapter: Yuki’s Volunteer.
After busting Team Phase for the scene and their plans, she and her friends has a week of fun without them around. Yuki notices that Eru is the only person in the game room who is working there, so she decides to help. Eru is happy that she is getting new members in the club. Yuki’s Story Chapter 68
In the afternoon during school, Retasu went to eat lunch with Team Phase and while she’s eating, she sees their small portable cabinet.
Retasu: So Rin, how was your ribbon activity yesterday?
Rin: It’s pretty good. Kaname showed me more gems and crowns. They look amazing!
Retasu: Sounds nice.
Rin: Look what she give me!
She shows her the new bracelet.
Retasu: Wow! It looks pretty!
Rin: Yeah.
Meanwhile at the classroom, Yuki talks to her fans about My Hero Academia.
Yuki: The most recent episode is amazing! It was the best action scene I’ve have seen in the current season.
Boy1: So who’s your favorite character?
Yuki: Deku, because his passion is being a superhero and a smart guy.
Girl1: Cool!
Leon comes in the classroom and pokes his shoulder for his attention.
Leon: Minoru. (looks at him) So, what is the girl gonna do today?
Minoru: Well, the special girl is gonna find hidden clues. Let’s just put that.
Leon: Cool.
Minoru: Also, she found her outfit for her ‘after school play’ if you know what I mean.
Leon: Sounds interesting.
Later after school, Leon is at the hallway, hiding by the door and see if Team Phase came out from their own student room.
Lila came out from there and there goes the rest of the main members.
Lila: Retasu is pretty tight on our candy giveaway after lunch.
Phase A: Yep. Also, I am thinking if we should invite one of their friend, Eru. She looks more like an intelligent person.
Kaname: It’s fine by us.
They walk while talking and eventually left.
Leon checks the window in the hallway and he looks at the front gate and sees them leaving.
At the soccer court, Yuki and Minoru are sitting at the bench, zipping her backpack.
Yuki: That was nice playing against my friends.
Minoru: Yep. Next week is the track.
Leon runs and goes by them.
Leon: Hey guys!
Yuki: Did they leave?
Leon: By leaving from the main gate, yes.
Yuki: Good.
Minoru: Wait, where is Retasu?
Yuki: I know that she’s here.
A strange fat lady appears and walks to them. It’s Retasu in disguise.
Retasu: Hey guys.
Leon: Awesome disguise.
Yuki: You look totally different than we thought.
Retasu: Wow. Looks like the school’s costume department is pretty good. Did they leave yet?
Minoru: Yes. Leon just came and told us.
Retasu: Good. So where is the key kit?
Yuki: I got it.
She opens her backpack and give her the box.
Yuki: Here it is. Instructions are inside the box and remember to return it.
Retasu: I know. Now I will go to their room. See you guys later.
Minoru: Good luck!
Retasu left.
Leon: Wow. That was a big costume.
Yuki: Yeah. We gotta hit the road. I got homework to do.
Minoru: Me to.
In the hallway, Retasu went to the door for Team Phase’s student room. She tries to open it, but it’s lock.
Retasu: It’s locked. Well, with the kit, I can do this.
She opens the box and sees the kit inside. She reads the instructions and actually opens the door.
Retasu: Cool.
She went inside and close the door, and she goes for the small cabinet.
Once again, she uses the lit and opens the cabinet.
Retasu: Got ya.
She sees few files and takes them and put it in her bag. She close it.
Retasu: Good thing I am wearing plastic gloves, so they can’t figure this out.
She leave the room and heads outside to leaves the school.
Later, she knock Yuki’s door and hands the files to her. Yuki gets it and Retasu hands her the costume in her house and went home.
At night, Yuki, Minoru, and Retasu got on their private chat online.
Yuki: Hey guys! I got all the files scanned.
Retasu: Good. Wow, that costume made me sweat a little.
Minoru: So, what did you see?
Yuki: I’ll send you guys each page as we look at them each.
She sends them the first paper and they all have the page on their screen.
Yuki: This is the club. They all have histories.
Minoru: Yeah. Their freshmen section says that they went to Naka Naka High, and they got group together as friends. They all form up a club known as Team Phase. Phase goes by their plan and tries to control the audience to only give them attention and tried to find new members. The whole team got exposed by only the students and left the school after finishing it.
Retasu: So they know each other for quite long.
Yuki: It didn’t say what caused them to get backfired in Freshmen.
Minoru: Pretty much, they were seen as pushy.
Yuki: That’s what they are. The bottom one says that they later on to not only take control of the students, but to the entire school and make rules like what they want them to have. Wow, they really planned to take that risk for long.
Minoru: I knew they have something suspicious for long.
Yuki: I’ll send the next page… There we go!
Retasu: Thanks. Wow, it lists all the members and invited guest. Should I go over to the new member section?
Yuki: Sure.
Retasu: This year, we invited these people and some decide to join our club. Yuki Koriyama, invited, but refused to join. Allegedly says she has got a lot of scheduling due to her popularity but acted like a jerk to us.
Yuki: There’s a difference between acting like a jerk and calling them out. They’re the jerks.
Retasu: Yep. Minoru Tamara, was invited, but never shown. He had emotional breakdown with one of us.
Minoru: Lila was just scaring me a bit, but now is watching me.
Yuki: Has she said anything about him?
Retasu: Lila was advised by me and Rin to not bother you. Rin told her that you, Yuki, likes to protect him and she’s already aware of it.
Yuki: It’s odd that Rin was mad at both of us, but still stops her from picking at you.
Minoru: Maybe she doesn’t want you both fighting. Continue.
Retasu: Ok. Rin Rosada. Joined. She’s happy to join us. Retasu Mitsuki, joined. Brought by Rin and is willing to join.
Minoru: That’s all. Oh yeah, Leon sent me on message that he heard them say that they plan to invite Eru because they know she’s intelligent.
Yuki: They’re not going to make her join. Eru is a lot more innocent and we can’t let them pick on her.
Minoru: They pretend that they are the good guys, but truth at heart, they want to use their new members.
Yuki: Yeah, let me send you another file now.
She sends the page to them and sees the plan page.
Yuki: There it is. Their plans for the school.
Minoru: That looks pretty suspicious.
Yuki: I’ll go over it. They say they plan to take control of Fujiwara High School to everyone and deserve attention. Only Team Phase will be the popular ones, and having enough members, we can change the entire school to restrict non members. Also, the new members will serve us goods. For now, we play nice guys to do some legitimate school help to gain trust for the school and invite members.
Minoru: This doesn’t sound good. I don’t know what is gonna happen to Rin.
Yuki: Well, this gets worse. Only our members will get fair treatment while following our rules when revealed. They can’t interact non members or willing to betray us. If they are, they will brutally get kicked out and be the target for the rest of the school year.
Retasu: So if I quit, they will target me for harassment or something like that. What a horrible lying club!
Yuki: You have two choices, if you are willing to stay undercover.
Retasu: Yeah, but I feel like they will eventually find out about that and also, I would look like a traitor to several others.
Yuki: Well, do your best. Whatever choice, we will always be friends.
Retasu: What about Rin. WAIT! If I quit, she will be mad at me, and she would most likely stay if I tell her to leave. I won’t tell her about our secret though.
Minoru: It might be best to stay with them, mostly because you can discover their secrets.
Retasu: Yeah.
Yuki: Well, it’s friday night, so we will have to wait until Monday to return the secret files and the costume at early morning.
Minoru: If Rin hangs with you over the weekend, just remember to keep it like if you are on her side all the time.
Retasu: Sure.
At Monday morning, Yuki comes to School at early morning with the fat lady costume.
She heads to the room, and when she sees that the door is slightly opened, she looks at the opening, and Team Phase are already in it. Hiroshi is looking at the cabinet, who already just opened it while the rest of the members are looking for the secret files.
Touko opens the door and sees the fat lady (Yuki).
Touko: It’s her! The fat lady who came and took our files.
Yuki: Umm, what do you mean?
Lila: We caught you on our hidden camera in the room.
Hiroshi: GET HER!
Yuki runs while they tried to chase her. She opens her bag and drops the secret files to the floor.
Kaname: We got to call securities on her!
Hiroshi grabs the secret files while Touko and Lila continues to catch her.
Kaname: We need to go to the security.
Mizuro: Yeah.
Hiroshi: I gotta return this back to our cabinet and place it somewhere else.
Mizuro: Sure.
At the front door of the building, Yuki runs out while Lila and Touko chases her.
Lila: You’re so fast for such a fat old lady.
Yuki: You bet.
Touko: Wait, did Yuki put you up to this?
Yuki: Who’s Yuki? I don’t even know who you guys names are.
Yuki turns around when leaving the school property, Touko stands while Lila continues to chase her.
Yuki keeps running and jumps to a fence on a park next to the school. Lila jumps on the fences and bushes too. They yell while being in wide distance between each other.
Lila: I still have you in sight!
Yuki: I returned your papers. Why still chasing me?
Lila: So we can turn you to the police!
Yuki crosses the street by the intersection while pedestrian sign is lit. It turns off once getting in, making the vehicles continue to drive once Lila made it to the intersection. Yuki is still running.
Lila: Darn it! I lost her!
Few miles ahead a while later, Yuki hides in the alley and sees several plastic bags on the floor.
Yuki: Now it’s time to put the disguise in there.
She takes off her disguise and stores it in the trash bag.
A while later, she goes to the secret opening around the school and jumps over the four inch fence, and covers herself around the trees. She is bear the court yard in school.
Yuki: I gotta make it seem like I didn’t came.
She went to the track and went behind the seats.
Yuki: They have a closet inside.
She opens it and puts the bag inside.
Yuki: Now I gotta return home and wear the school uniform.
Yuki left from a secret entrance, and went back home.
At her room, Yuki takes her plastic gloves off and puts them in the trash.
Yuki: Sigh. They better not find out that it’s one of us. I at least give them back their files.
She dresses for a minute and went back to school. She arrive and sees Minoru come.
Minoru: Hey Yuki.
Yuki: Minoru. The plan kinda got different.
Minoru: How?
They hear Hiroshi talking to the security guard by the gate.
Hiroshi: The fat lady ran off and she (Lila) was chasing her.
Guard: You guys said she came back with your papers and dropped them to the floor, right?
Lila: But she stole something important from our cabinet. She was fast.
Guard: I mean for a staff member who stole it, but give it back at least would’ve gotten fired instead of being sent to the cops.
Hiroshi: But it’s a top secret for our club!
Guard: Sorry guys, but we are not Sapporo police officers. We are guards, but if she give you the papers back, the case won’t get her arrested.
Lila: Do you know what a secret file means? What if she shared it?
Guard: Not sure how we are do this job if that is the case.
The guard left.
Lila: No one will want to find that lady.
They see Yuki and Minoru near the road.
Minoru: Yuki, I’m scared.
Yuki: Don’t worry.
They come and ask Yuki about her.
Lila: Yuki! Did you hire some sort of lady to steal something from us?
Yuki: No! I don’ want to be your guy’s business anymore. You got both of our friends and I don’t want to do anything to you guys anymore.
Hiroshi: But you think we are hiding something from you, and we can guess you hired that fat lady!
Yuki: I never met some fat lady, and I am done with you guys already. Just get out of our way!
Yuki and Minoru went to the building while Hiroshi and Lila watches.
Hiroshi: Do you think her boyfriend did it?
Lila: Seriously? Him? He’s got nothing. He’s weak.
Hiroshi: Well, we are gonna find this out.
In the hallway, Yuki and Minoru are walking, explaining the story in Manga form.
Yuki: …and the toad came in to return the weapon for the Keroians, they all saw her have it and chase after it, and he dropped it……
She finishes explaining the story.
Minoru: Wow. I hope those Keroians don’t figure that out in their own in the next chapter.
Yuki: Same. Remember, they’re gonna suspect the toad but also the other toad too since they both wore clown outfits.
Minoru: I see. Not sure how I feel about this.
Yuki: Don’t worry. The toads are gonna stay strong and try to hide this as much as possible. He store his clown dress inside the closet by the pond (the track)
Minoru: I see.
Later during lunch, Team Phase are having a meeting about the fat lady.
Hiroshi: Rin, Retasu! Are any of you familiar with the fat lady who took one of our secret folders?
Rin: She came?
Retasu: Do you know who she is?
Kaname: We saw her came this morning with our folder that she stole since Friday after school.
Rin: I think Yuki hired that women to do that. I think she still wants to butt in our business.
Hiroshi: That’s what we think. However, we talked to her today and she said she doesn’t know about this.
Lila: I still think she was lying.
Retasu: Well, how did you know that lady came here at Friday?
Kaname: We hide a secret camera that we will never giveaway the location. We managed to saw a video tape yesterday when we were visiting the school for some tools.
Rin: And you have the footage?
Hiroshi: Yes. The whole thing here.
He shows them their laptop and play the footage of the fat lady (Retasu in disguise) taking the folder from the cabinet.
Rin: Hey, doesn’t that locker kit belong to Yuki’s?
Hiroshi: A HA! I knew it.
Retasu: It can’t be 100% sure that if it’s hers. They sell a lot of those, but correct me on this.
Lila: I see. Yuki told us that she want to stay out of this business.
Hiroshi: Yeah. Well, even though we can think she is behind this, we can’t completely validate this. We need more evidence to see who is involved with this.
Mizuro: So what can we do?
Hiroshi: Well, if we caught someone outside of this club and show the evidence, they will either get detention or suspension.
Retasu: Wait, are you sure that they will allow cameras?
Hiroshi: They will not approve footage from individuals, but school approved cameras as well as school’s cameras are allowed.
Retasu: (swallows) Wow.
Hiroshi: Also, if any one in this club, not saying any of you guys are doing this, but if one of us is betraying our club, that person will be kicked off from this club as well as seeing the principle.
Rin: I know we didn’t do it and we are not involed with Yuki. Right, Retasu?
Retasu: Umm, sure.
Hiroshi: Well, we are gonna ask everyone in this school and the staffs about this.
Touko: Are you sure we are allowed to ask the staffs?
Hiroshi: Yes. We’ve been approved of this on the paper that was taken.
Rin: I see.
Hiroshi: Well, we’re now dismissed. Rin and Retasu, you can eat with your friends. We are gonna ask everyone around the school.
Rin: Okay.
Retasu: Sure.
They both leave.
Rin: You’re sure you are not involved with this?
Retasu: Not really. Yuki doesn’t want me around, and I don’t want to betray anyone, not even my best friend.
Rin: Good. Let’s eat at the classroom.
Retasu: Sure.
During lunch time, Team Phase ask their classmates, asking about the lady while showing the photo of her.
Yuki and her friends are eating at the roof.
Leon: Wow. We gotta make sure we stay quiet about this.
Yuki: Yes. Also, make sure you guys don’t break out.
Oka: All right.
They see Touko coming and heads to them. She asked Leon about the lady.
Touko: Hey dude. Are you familiar with this woman?
Leon: No. I don’t know who this lady is. Why are you showing me this?
Touko: She broke on our club room to steal our files, and gived it back this morning.
Leon: I see. I haven’t seen her.
Touko: You there (Oka) Have you…(sees Yuki and Minoru) You guys are involved with this lady?
Yuki: I told you guys I don’t know who that lady is.
Touko: All right, sure. If I found out who is involved with the theft on our club, we will report the suspects to the principle!
She leaves.
Yuki: They’re gonna do a bit more work to find this out.
Minoru: Yeah.
After lunch, Yuki and Minoru went to their class and hear everyone being annoyed from Team Phase.
Boy1: They keep asking us about this person, twice.
Lia: I got asked three times.
Girl1: And they keep warning us about our consequences.
Kaname: That’s because she ran off this morning.
Yuki: Minoru, you don’t have to worry about them. If they know who the actual suspect, just wory about yourself.
Minoru: Umm, sure.
Meanwhile, Hiroshi is at the office, talking to the security guard about the school’s cameras.
Hiroshi: We need to find out who is that lady.
Guard: Sure. After school, you guys can look at our footages with our supervision.
Hiroshi: Good. If we find out who is involved with that woman.

Next Chapter: Phase’s Conspiracy.
Team Phase grabbed all the footage from that friday and the day’s morning to see who is that lady or who is involved with her. They also ask some of their specuated suspects on their private meeting to see which ones are their suspects. Team Phase are really busy to make sure they can find all the evidence of their robbery. Chapter 69
In the gym after school, Yuki practice her moves with a punching bag. with Minoru and Ayano watching her. She keeps punching it and jumps around it.
Yuki: Hyaa! Now get ready for a distant ride!
She kicks it from the bottom and it flew to the other side of the gym.
Yuki: Swoosh! It never gets old!
Ayano: Cool! So do you ever own one of those punching bags?
Yuki: No. I just use my bouncing balls, pillows, and cardboards as a kid.
Minoru: Well, you sure are ready to defend from Team Phase.
Yuki: Yeah.
Meanwhile in some warehouse, the main Team Phase members are inside and brought the flash drive from school.
Hiroshi: Hey ladies, I brought it.
Touko: The surveillance footage?
Hiroshi: Yes. The entire day from last Friday and yesterday’s morning.
Kaname: Cool. Looks like we are gonna spend hours to find who is involved with the theft.
Lila: Totally.
Hiroshi walks up to their main computer and plugs the flash drive.
Hiroshi: We have a 24 hour video of that Friday and 12 hour video for the first half of yesterday. We are gonna watch and fast forward some parts. Each video contains many camera views in one single video, so prepare your eyes out. We gotta look as sharp as a knife to find out who’s behind this.
He plays the play button and they watch it.
Later, they were watching a segment when they leave their club room.
Lila: That’s when we were leaving.
Hiroshi: Yep. … Hey! There’s a guy in the door a few doors away from us.
Kaname: He looks familiar.
Lila: That’s Leon. Yuki’s friend.
Hiroshi: We knew it. We knew Yuki is the main source, but we need to watch this guy.
He plays the video and sees Leon watching them leave, and he walks by their door when they left the floor, and then he looks at the window to make sure they leave school. Once they do, Leon runs.
Hiroshi: There! He’s our suspect. He must’ve hired that lady.
Lila: Can we fast forward to her when she breaks it?
Hiroshi: Sure.
He fast forwards until they see a fat lady (Retasu) in the hallway. She opens the door and went it. A while later, she left the room and locks it and walks away.
The next day at morning, Team Phase are at the conference room with Hiroshi having his laptop plugged to the projector. The screen is black for now.
Touko came in the room.
Touko: Okay. Leon’s coming.
Leon enters the room.
Hiroshi: Hey Leon. We want you to sit down.
Leon: But how did you guys get permission to the conference room?
Hiroshi: The school allowed us for this case. Just sit down.
Leon: Okay. (sits down to a seat) So what case are you gonna tell me?
Hiroshi: Do you know a fat lady who stole our files?
Leon: Hmm… Not really. One of you asked me that the other day.
Lila: Uh Huh.
Hiroshi: So, we caught you on tape from last Friday when you were watching us leave our room before our robbery happened.
Leon: Really?
Hiroshi: Yeah. We got access to the school’s surveillance system with their permission and we found you in that area.
He plays the clip where Leon watches them leave.
Leon: All right! Look! I don’t know about the fat lady! I did do that because Yuki didn’t want you guys interfering her soccer game. She didn’t want you guys to ruin it. She hired me to look after you guys! That’s all. There’s no theft from any of us!
Kaname: So you’re working with Yuki now?
Lila: He’s friends with them.
Leon: Yes, since I became friends with Minoru, but this has nothing to do with something happened to your theft at any way, and not even Yuki wanted to do that.
Hiroshi: Are you sure?
Leon: Absolutely.
Hiroshi: We’ll keep finding out about this robbery as long as we have to.
Lila: But don’t watch us leave again! That’s how you ended up here. Understand?
Leon: Sure.
Hiroshi: We’ll keep a watch over you since we’re not done yet. Don’t worry. We probably don’t need you most of the time, and if you find out about this yourself, tell us.
Leon: All right.
Mizuro: Now go out and hang with your buddies.
Leon: Sure.
As soon as he left, he runs to Yuki and Minoru and tell them the story.
Leon:…and that’s all. I had to made that up because they caught me on school’s camera, and they got permission for it.
Yuki: How did they earn permission for it?
Minoru: Maybe because they claim they help the school and that the staffs falls for that.
Leon: Yeah. We don’t want to have something like this again.
Yuki: All right. I won’t let you get involved in this.
Now going back to yesterday, Team Phase are looking at the screen, checking the afternoon from Friday.
Kaname: We checked that boy already. He hasn’t watched us in that timeline.
Touko: Go check on Yuki. She’s at the hallway.
Hiroshi: Yeah, I see her. The last break until the final class of the day. Let’s see where she’s heading.
They see Yuki going to the theatre club, and went inside.
Hiroshi: She only went there.
They see her coming out with a trash bag and walks downstairs.
Touko: Could it be that she has the disguise for that?
Hiroshi: Not sure, but the fat lady looks really real.
They see Yuki exiting the building from behind.
Lila: And that’s where she went to gym class.
Hitoshi: Did you see her bring the bag to the locker room?
Lila: No. I didn’t see her in because she left before I went in.
Hiroshi: I see. Very suspicious.
In the next day during lunch, they are at the conference room again, calling Takigawa-senshi from his room.
In his classroom, he talks to Yuki.
Takigawa: Yuki. You need to take a visit to the conference room.
Yuki: Sure.
Minoru sees her go.
Yuki walks to the conference room and went in.
Yuki: You guys?! How did you guys get to use the teacher’s conference?
Hiroshi: School’s permission. Just sit down.
Yuki sits at a seat.
Yuki: So is the theft still a blame on me?
Hiroshi: Well, we want to make sure you’re not lying to us before we show you some clips.
Yuki: You guys know I’m done with you guys.
Lila: But according to Leon, you send him to watch us leave that Friday after school because as he said, you want to make sure we all leave so we won’t be in your game.
Yuki: Well, I thought you guys were gonna ruin it, and I really want to stay away from you guys.
Hiroshi: And you got Leon worried when he came. So here is the clip of him watching us.
He plays the clip that he showed to Leon earlier.
Yuki: Yeah, but we have nothing to do with that theft.
Hiroshi: And we have another clip.
He plays the clip where Yuki went to a classroom and came out with a trash bag, and went outside from the back of the building.
Yuki: Well, I was doing a favor for a teacher. Why do you guys want to butt in everyone’s business?
Touko: We want to know if that involves with…
Yuki: Again, I have nothing to do with the robbery.
Lila: All right, but you are still on our watch.
Hiroshi: Yuki, We’ll let you go.
Yuki: Finally. This was not worth going through.
She left the room.
Kaname: Either she’s legit or she’s hard to break down.
Hiroshi: Right. We’ll see who’s our exact suspect.
Few hours after school has ended, they are at their warehouse and they are watching the friday’s survillance.
Hiroshi: So all we have now is that Yuki wants us to not be in her way, or that’s how they claim it.
Mizuro: I wrote something on the sticky note. Umm, go to about 15-20 minutes after school.
Hiroshi: Okay.
He fast forwards again to after school.
Mizuro: Remember we told our new members, Rin and Retasu, if they know about this?
Kaname: They only heard about the incident. Any conspiracy theories?
Mizuro: We know Rin hates Yuki. But, Retasu joined later on. She seems to simply join and put less words than Rin about why she joined. Go look at the main entrance.
Hiroshi: There, I see her. She is talking to Rin.
He plays it.
Mizuro: Now Rin is leaving, and Retasu just now went to another direction. We didn’t see her leave the front gate, but around the school.
Lila: If she is what you think she is, Retasu seems to still care about Yuki, so she most likely watched her game.
Hiroshi: Maybe.
Mizuro: That’s all I got. We see everyone leave, but we can’t determine each person by the back of their heads. There’s a lot of them.
Hiroshi: Yeah, and what if Retasu or Rin actually hired a fat lady to take our secret files?
Kaname: I know Rin wouldn’t. She loves our club and I don’t spend time with Retasu as much.
Hiroshi: If this is true, them could it be that Retasu is working undercover?
Touko: We got to get rid of her.
Hiroshi: Not just now. We will interview her and see if she is really 100% legit just like Rin, or the one behind this.
Lila: Good thinking.
In the next morning, Rin and Retasu are at the student room with Team Phase.
Hiroshi: We got a bit more info about the robbery since yesterday. Leon did spy on us to make sure we leave, just to tell Yuki that we won’t be in her game, as if we wanted to.
Rin: I guess she hired him so she can call the lady.
Lila: We guessed too, but we don’t have a clear evidence yet.
Kaname: She wanted us to not be there, and we asked her yesterday if she did this. She’s still denying.
Retasu: She got mad at both me and Rin and she said this several times that she doesn’t want to be involved in our club anymore.
Hiroshi: All right. Well, we got a bit of information about the footage we saw from the survillance system. Retasu, we saw you and Rin talking after school that friday. After that, you went the other way to go behind the school to where the track is. Did you went to see Yuki’s game?
Retasu: Umm, no, I was talking to Shirou. He’s friends with Rin. I talked to him about Rin and she knows about this.
Rin: Yeah, we talked. They both were talking, as both said.
Hiroshi: I see. Have you seen Yuki during those moments?
Retasu: No. I only hear her game and people cheering her team and stuff. I was minding my own business.
Mizuro: So nothing suspicious?
Retasu: Not that I saw. No.
Hiroshi: All right. If any of you two see Yuki doing something or her friends, tell us. She’s currently in our watch until case is closed.
Rin: We’ll do.
Retasu: Hopefully, nothing wrong happens.
Hiroshi: Don’t worry.
Later during lunch, Team Phase are at their room while being closed. They are still looking at their laptop, watching the survillance from Friday.
Hiroshi: Remember we saw the fat lady coming out from the back door of the building? The camera is indoors, so we can’t see what was outside.
Lila: And during that, it was few minutes after everyone left the school when the game was over.
Touko: We didn’t see her come in from the front gate, by how much and how long we watched that survillance a few times.
Hiroshi: Like we said, it could be a disguise. We should check on the theatre room. The disguise room is there.
They went there and opened the disguise room, and they tried looking for the disguise that the “Fat Lady” wore.
Kaname: We didn’t see the dress that she wore.
Touko: There’s plenty of wigs. It is harder to find.
Mizuro: Neither Yuki or Retasu had put them here.
Hiroshi: If a disguise is taken, it is hidden. Retasu is still on our watch too in a way.
Kaname: What if one of them change in the locker room?
Hiroshi: Well, most likely, Yuki would’ve. We should go and investigate.
They went to by the locker room building.
Kaname: I’ll go and ask anyone.
Hiroshi: All right.
Kaname went to the girls locker room and saw a coach. She ask her questions.
Kaname: Were you here after school on Friday?
Coach: I was here.
Kaname: During someone’s game?
Coach: Well, there was a game that day. Yes. I believe it is another Yuki’s game.
Kaname: Yes. Have you seen anyone coming here after that?
Coach: I was here the whole time, so I don’t know when it ended. Although, I left to grab some paperworks, and when I got out from the main building, I saw someone coming out from this locker room from outdoors. On the inside, no one else was there before or after that.
Kaname: Was it a big person?
Coach: Yes. The dress with bushy hair. It was during the game and I assumed she was doing a play somewhere outside.
Kaname: All right. We are investing that person for our club that is registered to school’s service. Thanks for your information.
She came out and they all went to their club room again and talked.
Hiroshi: So we confirmed it is a disguise. We are getting closer!
Lila: I knew it! We know it’s not Yuki. Could it be Retasu?
Kaname: Possibly. We know it’s a girl in this school.
Lila: But how would Retasu run fast like that? She’s not as fast as that person who ran Monday morning.
Hiroshi: Although, I checked the height differences when that person entered our room from Friday after school and Monday morning. We see a bit of a difference. That’s why we need more clues. We can’t confirmed who wore that yet, so we gotta find out more stuff.
Touko: Yeah. Too bad we only have one camera outside the building, and it’s only at the main entrance to see the front gate.
Mizuro: We gotta intimidate Retasu!
Lila: I mean if she is the suspect, then confronting her would be a good idea to see if she can keep secrets.
Hiroshi: Well, it’s a bit risky and we don’t want the club to make others uncomfortable. That is, if this is the way to find out, then we will be protected.
Mizuro: So no one will do this to us again, unless if it’s Yuki.
Hiroshi: We still believe Yuki has something to do with this, but how many times have we said that? The clues we got so far seems to be more speculated on Retasu with the disguise. The lady came out from a locker room and waited until no students are here, and Leon spied on us. Let’s intimidate Retasu after school!
Later when school is just over, Retasu went to Team Phase’s room, she sits down and no one else is there.
Kaname came in.
Retasu: So, where is Phase A and the rest of them?
Kaname: They’re coming from their classes. They are putting stuffs on their lockers too.
A while later, the rest of the team came.
Hiroshi: Retasu, thanks for waiting.
Retasu: Umm, yeah.
Lila closes the door.
Hiroshi: Retasu, we want to ask you some questions.
Retasu: Umm, sure.
Hiroshi: We look in depth about our case. Retasu, we were told that the Fat Lady who stole our files came out from the girls locker room. Only one of the coach saw her walk out.
Retasu: So, did the coach caught her?
Kaname: No.
Hiroshi: We want to know if you know about this.
Retasu: Umm, I wasn’t by the locker room building. I was with Shirou, remember?
Touko: Yeah, but has anyone said about it?
Retasu: Only when you guys started trying to find her.
Hiroshi: All right. We got some clues. Yuki hired Leon to watch us leave that Friday as we said, because she thought we would ruin her game.
Lila: But we still believe she has not given up on us yet!
Retasu: I don’t know about that.
Hiroshi: And how many times we saw Friday’s surveillance, we didn’t see the Fat Lady coming in from the front gate.
Mizuro: And no one else know about where the secret files was stored.
Retasu: Not sure how anyone else knows.
Hiroshi: Maybe Yuki knows. She’s been here a few times before this robbery happened. Also, the Fat Lady came in from the back of this building.
Touko: We also checked height differences between Friday after school and Monday morning of the Fat Lady in disguise.
Hiroshi: She seems taller at Monday and ran faster.
Kaname: And she wasn’t wearing high heels. The coach believed she was wearing the disguise.
Retasu: (sweating) Umm, not sure how that…
Hiroshi: Also, we want to know if whether or not you are involved in this.
Retasu: No! I a-am not involved w-with this!
Kaname: We know Yuki didn’t steal our files from Friday. We believe she wore that disguise at Monday morning, despite denying it too many times.
Hiroshi: But the height differences we saw, it seems like a different person.
Retasu: ..Umm…I…don’t know…who was in that disguise.
Lila: Was it you or Rin? Tell us!
Retasu: No! I did not! (shaking)
Kaname: You’re shaking.
Retasu daydreams to the junior high days where she is hanging out with Rin.
Retasu: As best friends, we don’t keep secrets to each other. We share it!
Rin: Yep! BFFs along with Yuki!
Retasu: I won’t let you down in my entire life.
It cuts back to the reality.
Touko: Is it Rin? Or is it your friend?
Retasu shakes a bit and sweats and starts talking.
Retasu: STOP! STOP!! All right! I was the one who wore that fat lady disguise! I took it because I am working undercover for Yuki and them! She returned it that Monday.
Lila: I KNEW IT!
Retasu: I joined because I didn’t want Rin to be mad at me! (cries) She’s my best friend and I felt wrong for lying to her. I had to be undercover! Please don’t take me to the principle! Don’t tell Rin I did this! I did not want to betray her!
Retasu puts her head to the desk.
Touko: Case closed!
Hiroshi: …shocking.
He starts walking around.
Hiroshi: We told you both to not betray us. I can see why you joined because you want your friendship to stay.
Retasu: She would be mad at me if I side with Yuki all along.
Kaname: Well, you messed her up so bad.
Hiroshi: Phase E! Don’t! Retasu, we cannot tolerate this betrayal to this club. The club was meant to help the school to be the better place, and that was our goal. You and Yuki read the secret files and you guys already know our goals.
Lila: You shouldn’t share those files with someone else!
Hiroshi: Also, while you are out of the club for good, we won’t be sending you to the principle.
Touko: What about Yuki?
Hiroshi: If we send her there, we would have to send Retasu there too since they’re both on this case. Don’t worry. No one else will know you betrayed us.
Retasu: …so…?
Hiroshi: We thought what you guys did was terrible and you should be ashamed of doing this! Ladies, time for action.
He grabs Retasu out from the desk and throws her to the floor.
Hiroshi: THIS IS FOR SHARING OUR SECRET FILES WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION!!
He bangs her.
The group beats her up.
Retasu: HEELLPPPPPPP!
Lila covers her mouth.
They push her to the floor and starts beating her up. They rip her ribbons from her uniform and messes her hair.
Mizuro: If you think we didn’t think it was you, then you are wrong!
She grabs her briefcase and opens it and throws her papers, homeworks, and books around the room.
Retasu: MY HOMEWORK!!
Kaname: I see today’s homeworks!
She starts ripping her homeworks.
Hiroshi and Lila picks her up and leans back from the wall and runs to the front to throw her to another run to give her the bump and she fell.
Retasu stays crying and looks beaten.
Hiroshi: THIS IS WHAT WE DO TO A TRAITOR!
Lila: If you tell anyone else who we are, and what we did to you, it will be worse for them!
Kaname: She’s probably gonna tell Yuki.
Hiroshi: She doesn’t matter. And if we know you tell Rin about this settlement, not only we are gonna tell her what you did, but she will get beaten up even worse!
Retasu: Don’t hurt her!
Touko rips her school skirt and tosses it away.
Touko: Now you only have school’s pants left. Looks like that uniform looks awful.
Mizuro: It doesn’t look like the school will allow you to come here with that! Looks like you won’t be coming here for a while!
Hiroshi: Come on girls. Let’s go some place else. We’ll leave her here.
Team Phase left and Retasu is left crying on the floor.
Retasu: Oww. (sniffs) Yuki!

Next Chapter: Rin’s Situation
Retasu went to Yuki’s house and Rin’s house. She tells them the story. Rin realizes that she is in a complicated situation between her friends, her attitude, and Team Phase. She does not want to get beat up, but does not want to stay in the club any longer. How will Rin try to escape from being a member of Team Phase? Tune in next time!
