Chapter 82
In Yuki’s room, she talks to Minoru about her upcoming trip.
Yuki: I’m gonna go to Kyoto for a week. We have something special for our family.
Minoru: Cool. What is it?
Yuki: My dad’s side of his family are having a tribute on martial artists.
Minoru: That’s interesting. I am gonna go on trip to my cousin’s house. Saburo’s house.
Yuki: Him. That’s good. I will be leaving to a regional airport at sunset.
Minoru: Cool. I’m gonna go to his place in the next morning.
Yuki: All right.
Minoru: Just one question. You and your family speak normal, and I never hear any kansai dialect from any of you.
Yuki: My parents were raised on the outskirts of Kyoto region, where they have non-kansai people there. I was born in Kyoto, as you know.
Minoru: Interesting.
Later, Yuki went to her parent’s car.
Ryo: We haven’t went to see them since several years ago.
Yuki: I know. Finally, we’re going there.
Ryo: It is gonna be a huge party I believe.
Yuki: I want to know about the specialty on our family at Kyoto.
Ryo: Me to.
Father: It’s something very special to learn about, once we have a meeting.
Mother: Knowing about their history will blow your minds, kids.
Yuki smiles.
Yuki: I’ll take it as a yes.
Later at night, Yuki’s family arrived to Kyoto airport, and went to a taxi. They stopped by their family’s house.
Ryo: We’re here.
Yuki: Let’s go.
They see their other family when they knock the door and went inside.
Uncle Kabura: Welcome guys!
Ryo: Hi Uncle Kabura!
Yuki: Long time, no see.
Aunt Chiyo: You guys came on time.
Father: We sure did.
Ryo: Aunt Chiyo, I’m glad you got your family to see my graduation.
Chiyo: I had to support you guys, so I did my hard work to see specialty on you four.
Yuki: That’s good.
Yuki and Ryo went to see their cousins. They have three cousins in the family, and the last one is a male.
Ryo: Hey guys!
Cousin 1: Hey Ryo and Yuki!
Cousin 2: Awesome!
Cousin 3: What’s up, guys?
Ryo: We got a good trip.
Yuki: We’re excited to spend time with you guys for about a week.
Cousin 2: That’s what we’re excited about.
Yuki: Cool.
In the next day, we see the shrine with plenty of people in the field around it. Yuki and Ryo goes to the court room, and plays fighting at each other.
Yuki: Oh yeah! We’re really good, aren’t we?
Ryo: We may be, but we’re ready for it!
They both play around the room, and sees their grandfather coming in.
Yuki: Grandpa! Hi!
Ryo: Hello!
Grandfather: Yuki! Ryo! Having fun?
Ryo: You bet.
Yuki: Did you bring anything interesting for the festival?
Grandfather: Many. We got cool events and scenarios set up.
Yuki: Cool. Let’s see them.
They went to see people doing kendo.
Grandfather: We brought in kendo guys to the festival. We are looking at their stragies.
Yuki: I’ve done a few kendo activities at school.
Ryo: Me to.
Grandfather: Still a champ at school, guys?
Ryo: When I was in high school, yes.
Yuki: I’m still in, and rocking hard.
Grandfather: Cool.
They went to their family maiden, and they sit down with their grandparents talking.
Grandfather: I’m glad we are together to show you guys our tradition.
Grandmother: Everyone here are very happy to be in the festival because we want to celebrate our ancestors and people who are in martial arts, ninja, and kendo. Any type of activity in this tradition.
Grandfather: Our family and other families here kept this tradition here alive for over a century.
Ryo: Wow.
Grandmother: Yuki and Ryo, you’ve been realized that you both are talented at gymnastics and sports?
Yuki: Correct.
Ryo: Absolutely.
Grandfather: We want to tell you both about one of our ancestor.
Yuki: Who?
Grandfather: Hinata Aino.
Father: She is your great grandmother.
Ryo: I remember seeing her when I was 2.
Yuki: Was she the one on our photo who was holding me when I was a baby?
Mother: Yep. That’s her.
Father: She passed away when you were 2.
Yuki: What did she do something special.
Grandmother: She joined the martial arts program when she was in her early teens. Back then, the society was very strict with gender roles, so it was a struggle for Hinata to participate in martial arts or any other sports here.
Grandfather: She was really rebellious, and was the only girl in town to try their activities. She joined, but no one wanted to practice with her. Hinata instead practiced on her own. She eventually showed all her talents to everybody.
Yuki: Wow.
Grandmother: Hinata would train herself more often than most other people. She would skip class and sometimes even practice during night.
Ryo: Sounds like she was a serious artist.
Grandfather: Totally. She won as a champion once after a few years of training. Hinata was named as the first female martial artist in here. She would try other activities like kendo, and she did a good job, but she sticked to being a martial artist.
Yuki: So is she as talented as me and Ryo?
Grandfather: Of course. Hinata is like you both, and your dad. It’s on your blood.
Ryo: No wonder why we do really well.
Yuki: Yeah. Remember we would practice our strategies in the field every week, dad?
Father: I do.
Grandfather: Since Hinata was my mother, she would train me to do martial arts. Mother was our teacher, and teached kids weekly.
Ryo: Were you really great on her level?
Grandfather: Not her level, but I was pretty good.
Grandmother: Hinata has her memorabilia on the shrine. When she passed away, we built a shrine for her. It was to show how talented of a person she was, who first showed as the first girl to attend such activities. It was a really hard work for her achieve as a girl back then.
Yuki: It would be a really difficult achievement back then. I know it was a difficult time for girls to be in sports back then, and I’m pretty happy time has changed because of people like her.
Grandfather: Absolutely. She’s been mentioned here a lot whenever we do celebrations here.
Ryo: Can we see the shrine?
Grandmother: Sure.
They went to the shrine to look around. They see treasures and writing all around.
Grandmother: This is Hinata’s shrine. Those treasures, the staff, the stick, and headband, are her own.
Yuki: Cool!
Grandfather: We also store all her medals here too. People signed on the walls and signs during her funeral. There was a lot of blessing because of her talents during her life.
Ryo: That’s sweet.
Grandmother: The special thing about Hinata is she is our ancestor. Active talents were taught by her to her kids, then we did the same to our kids, and now the kids of Koriyama family have it. Yuki and Ryo, your dad, Uncle Kaburo, and his kids have it.
Yuki: Sounds pretty epic. Has Hinata ever do talents on her school?
Grandfather: Not like you both. She only showed her hobbies in the field and inside the shrine. Hinata was very skillful after couple years of training.
Ryo: Does she have siblings?
Grandfather: She had few of her brothers.
Father: When I met her, she seemed sweet, but really headstrong. As a child, she was still a sporty woman. Hinata decided to retire from doing martial arts when I was a teen due to her age. She told me that she wanted to pass on the physical talents to new generation of young people.
Ryo: Exactly. I’m glad this is a thing.
Yuki: Also, we both have a significant other. Ryo has a girlfriend who is a swimmer.
Ryo: Haruka is both a swimmer and a yoga exerciser.
Grandmother: Cool.
Yuki: My boyfriend is Minoru. Well, he isn’t really a sports guy. He wants to be a graphic designer.
Grandfather: Sounds like he is a light boy.
Yuki: He is. Minoru gives out advices and helps us. Plus, like everybody else, Minoru loves seeing me in action.
Grandmother: It seems like he likes your type.
Yuki: Totally. I do think this is really an interesting culture we learned today.
Grandfather: Yeah.
Later, everyone in the festival is celebrating the tradition. Yuki and her family are watching live shows. Kids are playing around, and some pretending to be ninjas or martial artist. People get food, and Yuki eats with her family.
Ryo: I never knew about our great grandmother’s past.
Yuki: Me to. I’m glad they told us about this.
They continue to celebrate the entire night.
Next Chapter: Rin’s Hangout
On Rin’s story, she wants to hang out with Shirou and few of her friends. Rin wants to do her plans over the summer to enjoy her break from school. Tune in next time!
I finally got Colormunki Display to capture the NDS screen data to do a proper color conversion from sRGB to NDS colorspace on most displays. I got the data for both screens on HCFR.

The bottom is more close to 6500k than the top, but generally, the original NDS screens are cold, especially the grey ramps. It doesn’t look that bad, but the screen does look tolerable on the greys, not crazy blue. As you can see, the blue color matrix is way outside the standard sRGB or Rec 709 colorspace. I managed to work for a few days to get proper colors for Red, Green, and Blue to showup on the shader for Retroarch.
Here are few screenshots for the upcoming NDS shader:

Only notable thing I did is to slightly lower the lumiance to have bright yellows show up correctly on the shader.
This time, I will do my retrospective on the Prequel Trilogy. Merry Christmas and may the holidays be with you.
DISCLAIMER:
This post will contain my opinions of the prequels. I am gonna be fair
to the goods and bads on each three films. If you respect my opinion and
understand my reasons about my retrospective and current thoughts of
the films, I will appreciate it. No pure hate will be done on anyone
involved in those films, and will be honest about the people and what I
think they should’ve done. This is mainly about retrospective.
To
recap from my Original Trilogy posts, I played the games first before
seeing the films in full length. Just to remind you, I did see Episode 2
in theatres first, before seeing any other Star Wars films.
In
late July 2002, I was in Peru for a trip. One day, I went to the mall in
Lima. The mall looked nice, and it was mostly outdoors. The hallway and
the eating area are all outdoors. I enjoyed looking around the mall
with my family. Later, we said we’re gonna see a movie. I didn’t know at
the time that I’m gonna see Star Wars, but when I sit on the seat in
theater, I was waiting to see what movie it was. I didn’t even ask, and
the fact I have very basic Spanish skills. When I saw Star Wars logo on
screen, that’s when I realized we’re watching it. Granted, this is my
first time seeing a Star Wars movie in theater, but in the US, it’s The
Clone Wars movie, and The Force Awakens as a main film. The entire movie
was in spanish, and I didn’t understand much of it. Episode 2 came to
Peru in July 2002 instead of May. I thought all the action scenes were
interesting. I mainly focused on those scenes. I remember seeing the
chase on Zam Wesell, The Kamino battle and negociations, Anakin fighting
Tuskin Raiders, and the entire Battle of Geneosis. Also including the
rest of the movie. I didn’t realize the romance scenes because I watched
it on unfamilar language, and filler dialogue. I would admit that they
have a lot of them, but I still liked the action parts as a kid. My most
memorable scene was Anakin vs Count Dooku because he cuts Anakin’s arm
off. I didn’t notice much of CGI. I was a kid, but as of now, a lot of
the CGIs don’t really look terrible. Noticable, but not awful. There are
exceptions like Dexter Diner scene and the hallway with Obi-Wan, Yoda,
and Mace Windu. I know there’s more, but the CGIs, admittedly, didn’t
age well. It’s more like PS3 and X360 graphics than PS2 graphics. PS2
graphics would be like Food Fight or Sharkboy and Lava Girl. As a kid,
after seeing it, I had fun seeing it. It’s common that you had fun after
seeing a Star Wars movie in theaters, but it was new to me. I remember
having Galactic Battlegrounds, and so I tried to recreate the battle
arena of Geneosis. I think we had a good time at the mall. I don’t know
if any of my family didn’t like it, but I know I did. By the way, I
don’t remember hearing people gasping for Yoda grabing his lightsaber.
Fast
forward to December, we brought Episode 2 to see it in English. I
understand some of them, but still enough to know a lot about the movie.
I saw it with my other family members who didn’t came to Peru with us. I
remember some dialogues like I HATE THEM!!!. I enjoyed seeing the
action scenes again, especially Geneosis. Even as a kid, I knew they had
filler dialogues. I still didn’t notice the romance scenes being bad
though, at the time. I do think a great scene that everyone mentioned is
Anakin’s anger on Tuskin Raiders, and as a kid, I thought it made
sense. After seeing it in English, I decide to see the Geneosis segments
again few days later. I’d admit, the lightsaber duel looks pretty cool,
even now. It was the only Star Wars movie I have at the time, but I
mostly play the video games like Star Wars Racer, Galactic
Battlegrounds, and Rogue Squadron 3D.
Fast Forward to Late 2007, I
already mentioned about me playing Lego Star Wars 2, and seeing the OT.
My cousin decides to show us all the movie on the visit. We saw the OT
first, and then we saw Episode 2. We didn’t go to Episode 1 yet. When I
saw the movie again, I’m like, I remember the movie. I kinda had the
same opinion as I has when I was younger, but I know much more about the
movie, and I liked Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan and Count Dooku was well casted.
I wouldn’t want to fill my retrospective on Episode 2 more, so I’ll move on to Episode 1 and 3.
I
saw Episode 1 last, so I’ll move to Episode 3. My cousin played it. The
first several minutes were pretty amazing. We get to see Anakin and
Obi-Wan in more action. I thought General Grevious was just a villain. I
knew he wasn’t written as good as Count Dooku or Anakin, but his battle
with Obi-Wan was satisfied enough to me back then. Even before all the
memes, I quickly regonized the dialogues from the movie. The dialogues
aren’t as great as Original Trilogy, it was still better than the first
two prequels. Seeing Anakin vs Dooku again made me feel like I really
waited this long to see a sequel. I know it’s random, but I used to
remember enjoying their first duel. I find it interesting that we
question ourselves during the movie about what happened. We do that a
lot during our childhood. My favorite duel in the movie is Anakin vs
Obi-Wan. In my first glance, we do see their acutal connections, and
Anakin’s perspective on the Jedis. We used to play with lightsabers to
fight. I remembered the birth of Vader’s suit, and even the Nooo. Back
then, I thought it was fine, but I get that already it’s not really
good. I don’t mind it, and I see it as a meme. I thought my first time
seeing Episode 3 was exciting. I liked a lot of parts of the movie, and
to an extent, I still do. It’s funny how I think about the connections
back then about the events from the prequels. I never felt there was any
huge disconnections on continuity. Even to this day and during the
backlash on the prequels, I never was against Episode 3. I thought it
was tolerable and satisfying, but I’ll discuss this later.
Now
let’s go to The Phantom Menace and how I first saw it. My cousin’s next
visit brought Episode 1, and we saw it together. To be honest, we
over-fun the visit because he brought his lightsaber and PSP with Lego
Star Wars 2. I knew about the Pod race because of the video game. We
played the movie, and we were having fun in our own terms. Wow, what a
memory. We do see Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan slicing off the droids and stuff,
and it was a pretty good start for action. I never knew about force
speed that they used to escape from droidekas until six years later.
Seeing Jar-Jar the first time, I thought he was little funny back then,
but I never see him as my favorite thing nor really smart. I notice the
political discussions, but in this visit, we somehow just talk over it,
saying how the astestics looks cool. Later, we realized Jake Lloyd was
playing as Anakin, and it’s because our favorite movies back then was
Jingle All The Way. We thought it was cool when we first watched it. Pod
Racing was pretty exciting. It reminds me a bit about the video game.
Let’s get to the part where Battle of Naboo started. The three of us
decides to play Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul and take turns, so we
saw Duels of the Fate four times! Second one is when we start reenacting
the characters. On our second to fourth time, we fast forward whenever
it cuts to Jar Jar, Padme, or Anakin. It was very fun! It was. It was
our favorite thing from the movie. We thought Darth Maul was a cool
character and so as Duels of the Fate soundtrack. Back then, we never
thought about Anakin surviving the space battle nor how unhelpful Jar
Jar was in the battle because of this. After we saw the movie, we
thought it was pretty good. Granted, it was actually not the best film,
and even back then, we found the Original Trilogy even better. While we
enjoyed all the movies back then, it was pretty fun to enjoy Star Wars. I
did play the first Lego Star Wars a month after I got the second game.
Since
I went all through the prequel trilogy retrospective, let’s discuss
about the flaws and backlash that it went before. I discovered the
backlash of it in 2012. I did see the 3D version of the Phantom Menace,
which was almost as pointless as Solo, and I started to realize how the
movie has problems with pacing and stuff. It wasn’t really 3D, so it
wasn’t worth seeing. At first, I thought it was okay or not great. A
year later, I do find more backlashes of the prequel trilogy, and some
of the things made sense. Episode 1 was pretty monotone and didn’t
handle the politics discussions correctly. It has fillers that they
could’ve trimmed out. I do see Jake Lloyd become a joke, and I do think
he wasn’t well acted, I knew it was the problem with the directing and
choices. Jar-Jar was pretty dumb, and at that time, I never thought he’s
the worst character that anyone would say outside the fandom. Mine was
Iris from Pokemon anime, and I used to proof she was worse than Jar Jar.
I never blamed Ahmed Best for playing him. There was medi-chlorians
thing, but I never did analysis on it. Episode 2 has the CGI and bad
romance. CGI was used in most of the film, but many parts didn’t look
too bad. I get the Dexter’s Diner scene and Green Screen with Obi-Wan,
Yoda with hover, and Mace Windu, but the rest didn’t seem that bad to be
honest. In the last couple of years, I think the written romance made
connections between Anakin and Padme really awful. I know the lines and
directing made Anakin a cringe of a character, but I never blamed Hayden
Christiansen. I thought he was a good actor, but I knew the production
handled him poorly. I feel sorry for him for getting the hate. He was
never mean or anything. He’s done decent or good on other movies. I
think he does a bit better in Episode 3 though.
Episode 3, I
honestly never understand how people see this movie as bad as the first
two. I thought it did a lot better. I think it’s not up there with the
OT, but at least good enough for me to enjoy. I get the flaws of the
movie, but I never understand it being really a terrible film. The flaws
I can point out are the romance balcony scene, the pacing of Anakin
becoming a sith, the Nooo Vader scene, or Padme’s death explanation. I
know people find General Grevious a weak villain, but I find him pretty
okay. He’s better in Clone Wars 2003 and 2008 one, but he’s really best
in the first one. The dialogues are somewhat monotone, but it wasn’t as
appearant, and many of them are memeable. Hello There. Your move. I got
the High Ground! Not a happy landing. Ewan Mcgregor is my favorite
protagonist actor of the trilogy. Obi-Wan seems pretty enjoyable. The
CGIs in the film got better, but few places looks fake, but not really
bad. Mustafar was a prop if you look at behind the scene stuff. Back to
Hayden Christiansen, I thought he was pretty fine in this film and did
better than episode 2, and I don’t think the bad acting or directing are
enough for him to win Worst Supporting Actor. Ian McDirmid was pretty
good. The Yoda vs Emperor, I know many people find it pretty silly and I
do understand, I don’t really mind to be honest. I know Episode 3 is
not as great as the Original Trilogy films, but I find it pretty
satisfying.
The things I found wrong in the backlash are few
thing. First big one is George Lucas. Well, he got full control to make
the trilogy, and did a lot on his own. While I do think some of his
decisions are questionable, I never see him as a bad guy. Many people
hate him for the prequels and Special Editions. I get it he doesn’t do
well on those. It goes out of hand on the hate. Many people hate on him
so much that they made a song about him ruining their childhood. If you
know the song and the lyrics, you know what I mean. I couldn’t believe
they made a song against him. That’s where I found the backlash pretty
brutal. The People vs George Lucas, I never seen it, but Mark Hamill did
an interview in early 2017, saying how they were hating on him. Yeah,
the backlash on George Lucas was pretty brutal especially since he’s a
creator who made the greatest franchise. I know not all creators are
good people, but he had helped several people in the business. See Pixar
and Lucasarts, and guys like Steven Spielberg. He had done decisions
that isn’t right, like special editions, but I don’t think he really did
anything harmful or insulting. My second thing that I find wrong with
the backlash is taking it on actors. Jake Lloyd is a good example. I
know you can critize the actors all you want, but don’t see them as they
purposely ruin the movies due to their acting or what they were told to
act and say. Jake Lloyd got really bullied after Episode 1, and he
ended up destroying his memorabilia and later committed DUI, and ends up
in Mental Institution later on. Ahmed Best seems like a nice guy. I
didn’t know that even a voice actor can still get blamed even if not
seen directly in the movie. He tweeted once about his suicide thoughts,
but he decides not to. Thankfully, he attended Celebration 2019 in The
Phantom Menace panel. Hayden Christiansen, I already mentioned him.
Natalie Portman, I get that she’s not really a good actress, but I don’t
think she’s that bad of an actress. My third problem with the backlash
is going against fans who enjoys the prequels. I met someone who likes
Episode 1. He tells me why, and I never went against him for liking it. I
never see those movies as really bad movies. I know this is a problem
with the fandom since the hate on the prequels went strong in late 2000s
(correct me). My former reviewer, Nostalgia critic, made 11 good things
about the prequels. While his review was likable, he gives it a sense
that people will go rage on him if he defends the prequels or say Hayden
Christiansen is well casted. I don’t watch his videos anymore, but that
used to be accurate of how the hatedom was.
The backlash
declined somewhere in 2016 before Rogue One. I know they aren’t perfect
movies, but I can point out some things of what I liked about them.
McGregor, McDirmaid, Christopher Lee, and Ray Park were pretty great
playing their characters. My favorite protagonist is Obi-Wan. Soundtrack
is amazing and it’s really memorable. Lightsaber duels are really
enjoyable. Some lines are memorable that they became memes. I know
recently, people see this trilogy differently. I don’t think the trilogy
are generally a masterpiece, but it does vary by person who finds them
enjoyable in any way. I’m just doing my retrospective and what I think
about the criticism of the prequel trilogy. I do realize some of them
are pretty fair. Episode 3 is enjoyable for me for its lore and story on
multiple characters.
I’m gonna include the fan edits. I
recommend Hal 9000 fan edit of the prequel trilogy as a way to rewatch
with several problems greatly reduced. I find his episode 2 fanedit
pretty great. It did make it look like a substantial improvement that
makes it watchable than the actual movie by cutting away fillers or bad
scenes away as much as it can. Granted, with the cuts, few scenes that
are cut can be questionable, like trimming away Qui-Gon’s sense of
Anakin or shortning Yoda vs Dooku to only using the force, but the
fanedit is worth seeing. It add deleted scenes that made sense. I made a
review of it last year, and it’s pretty positive. I haven’t seen his
Episode 3 yet, but what I can say is that I would watch his fanedits to
rewatch the prequels at the best way possible.
Here’s the
question I’m gonna get asked since I post about the criticism. What
about the sequel trilogy, especially The Last Jedi? I will cover the
sequel trilogy once I see The Rise of Skywalker. It comes out this
weekend, but I’m not sure when I could see it. I’ll cover the history
about those three movies. I am only covering the main films, not Rogue
One or Solo. Once I’m done with the retrospective, I’ll finally post my
rank on all the movies made by Lucasfilm production.

I’m doing retrospectives of each Star Wars Trilogy. We’re starting off
with Original Trilogy first. I’ll move to Prequels and Sequels. The
first thing to ask is how I got into Star Wars or how I know about it.
As a pretty young kid, I saw my parents watching Return of the Jedi, but
I only saw one or two scenes. I seen involvement between Luke and Vader
inside the new Death Star, and I also remember seeing Yoda in Empire
Strikes Back, but those are the parts I only saw as a pretty young kid.
Years later, I got Star Wars Racer for Windows. I played the game and it
was fun. I never saw any Star Wars movies at that time. A year later, I
watched Attack of the Clones, but we’ll get into that in the Prequels
Retrospective. After that I played few games like Galactic
Battlegrounds, Rogue Squadron, and GB Star Wars game. I played NES Star
Wars on an emulator I found. I knew about Darth Vader’s existence, but I
never knew about him or most characters. That was until I started
playing Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy. I got the game for
Windows a day after my cousin got PSP and Lego Star Wars 2 for his
birthday, and I decide to get the game myself. It was a very fun game.
It was in November 2007 when we started playing Lego Star Wars. The game
is fun, and it’s around the time The Complete Saga came out. Until
Disney’s Star Wars, TCS was the Complete Saga. I didn’t read much on the
space scroll, so I didn’t know a lot about the films besides the
gameplay. Weeks after, my cousin brought in Star Wars movies for us to
watch. Here are the results:Actually, since I played the lego
games, I know how those films would play out, but I don’t know all of it
since I rarely read the scrolls. Episode 4 was entertaining. I first
thought it was pretty adventurous. I was interested of the beginning,
since I see stormtroopers shooting the rebels, and Leia putting the
death star plans and the message to R2-D2. Seeing both R2 and C-3P0
trapped in Jawa’s Sandcrawer got me to know everything about Jawas. I
was glad C-3P0 got Owen to buy R2 and they stayed with Luke. I was
surprised both of Luke’s Uncle and Aunt got founded and killed, and he
sees their skeletons. It feels like Luke had no choice, but to do some
mission with Obi-Wan. I thought the cantina was a fun place. At times, I
thought the props like the automated doors feels a bit wonky, but I
knew it was a very old movie, so I didn’t mind. I did watch the special
editions first, so I saw Han talking to Jabba, and I thought he looked a
bit fake. Cutting to the death star adventure, their mission were
pretty interesting. The entire scene where they go to the detention
level and rescue Leia, I liked how they made it there to rescue Leia,
and escaped with her. Obi-Wan fighting with Darth Vader was kinda
simplistic, even when I first saw it. With Obi-Wan dying, I found it
interesting he can still walk to Luke with the force. Also, I did like
how destroying the death star went out. Overall, Episode 4 went pretty
well when I first saw it.Around the time, I think Episode 5 and 6
are better. Empire Strikes Back felt very natural and memorable. When I
first saw it, I thought it had more depth as a movie. The action and
the props got better, and the lines are more memorable. I was happy to
see Obi-Wan again, as a ghost. Battle of Hoth was more interesting to
watch than to play in Lego Star Wars due to its difficulty. I realized
those air space battles have a lot of video game versions. I thought
Darth Vader was amazing as a villain. I understand why he is everyone’s
favorite villain. Luke and Yoda interactions seemed funny. I thought it
was interesting on Luke’s character because I knew he wouldn’t be a
great jedi since he has other things in his mind. Obi-Wan did say he’s
not ready to be trained. As a kid, I never knew about him fighting Darth
Vader inside the tree. I didn’t really get how Darth Vader was there
for few years. I also liked the connections with Han and Leia. The
bickering with both of them seems to not be actual bickering that I see
on TV shows at the time, and it was interesting because they were
helpful and respect each other more as the movie goes on. The entire
Bespin scenes have a lot of interesting moments. Han getting frozen got
me attached to know how Leia and Chewie feels when he gets frozen in
carbonite. As for Boba Fett, I thought he looked cool, but he doesn’t do
much other than following Darth Vader around. The fight between Luke
and Darth Vader looked more interesting than the duel in the first
movie. Luke jumps everywhere, using the forces to throw objects, and the
interaction between Luke and Darth Vader. I never knew Darth Vader was
his father until he admitted it. I could see why Luke freaked out about
it, yelling Noooo. Despite seeing the parodies like the Fairly
Oddparents parody and Toy Story 2 Zurg scene, I never think he was
related to Luke until I watched this movie. That’s very interesting even
though I saw the parodies first. This movie is the reason why I think
it’s better than A New Hope, while both being great movies. The
last movie of the trilogy is also a good one. As a kid, I thought it has
really great connections between Luke and his friends, and even Darth
Vader. Boba Fett did more action, and I laughed how he died in Lego Star
Wars. I didn’t mind Jabba as a kid, nor the freaks in the palace.
However, the dancing in the special edition, I could tell it did not
look faithful to the rest of the movie, and I think the two aliens were
weird. Anyway, the actions on the movie looks pretty interesting. The
battle on Jabba’s ships, the Scout vehicle on Endor, and the Battle of
Endor. I was kinda sad to see Yoda dying, but it was interesting to hear
Luke is related with Leia. As a kid and even now, I liked the Ewoks. I
never found them annoying. I get why people don’t like them, but they
never took affect on the movie for me. I laughed when C-3P0 was floating
with a chair. As for Luke and Darth Vader, I see their second duel as
something special. I think this is my second favorite lightsaber duel of
the trilogy because this shows the relations between the two and Luke
learning the dark side is not really good. My first favorie is from ESB
like many people. My favorite scene of the movie is when the Emperor
shocks Luke and Darth Vader decides to do the right thing by throwing
him to his death. It’s because it shows very redeemable moment Darth
Vader has for Luke. Of course, it was pretty sad to see Luke watching
Vader dying. The Battle of Endor was my favorite battle because of the
end of the empire and seeing the connections with Han and Leia, and Luke
and Darth Vader. Back then, I found Admiral Ackbar to be an interesting
character, mostly because the way he speaks. At the end, I was waiting
to see Ghost Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Yoda because of the games. When I saw
Hayden Christansen, I thought to myselfwhen did the movie came out. I
knew it came out in 1983, and Episode 3 came in 2005, and wonder how
Christansen looked the same, until I learned about the special edition. I
know this is the most hated change that George Lucas has made, but I
never had anything against Christiansen. Anyway, I liked the entire
ending and showing the universe celebrating. The three movies are
very likable, especially the last two. I used to favorite 5 and 6 the
most, but over the years, Empire Strikes back is my favorite Star Wars
movie, the entire saga. I would show this trilogy to anyone of I want to
introduce them Star Wars. Those are really good classics. Also, Lego
Star Wars 2 and The Complete Saga are recommended for playing the movie,
and I can also include Super Star Wars games. My next part is me
reviewing the Prequel Trilogy. I am gonna go more about my first
reactions just like the OT here. I will explain what I think about it.
Also, this is my first actual retrospective post, so I may type it like
an average blogger.
This is a certain topic about my channel and the future. Unlike my
previous progress posts, this one is the most important one about my
YouTube channel.
Well, I like making MMD videos and making
models. I enjoy seeing good comments get notified to me, and seeing the
positivity on my videos, even the ones that turned out okay. I always
stay non-profit because I don’t see my channel or myself get involved
with monetizing my videos. It’s just a hobby. I’d get part time job to
handle my life than letting YouTube do it. However, one huge thing is
putting my channel at risk. There’s COPPA that protects children on the
internet, and FTC enforcing the law to apply on the internet. YouTube
plans to add a rating system for individual channels and videos. You can
decide to choose if your channel and/or video are “made for kids” or
“not made for kids” to have your videos put on the right audience. Since
my videos and channel are really appropriate for kids under the age of
13, only having animation, you would think it’s a good idea. There’s a
bad news if you decide to label all your videos and your own channel as
“made for kids”. If that is made that way, your videos won’t get comment
sections anymore. Not only that, but your ad revenue can go lower than
half amount, won’t get notified, even if you are over 13 or over 18, and
you won’t see the community tab on my channel, even though I don’t use
it. The only thing that is a red flag for me is Comments will be deleted
for videos that are made for kids. This is what makes this a hard
decision for me since I have all videos for general audiences and kid
appropriate. Also, I have to be honest to the rating system that YouTube
will have, and the deadline is in the beginning of 2020. If you decide
to have your channel as “not made for kids” and same with your videos
just to have the comment section and notifications for other viewers,
and if they are found to be made for kids, then you can get in trouble.
FTC and posts claims they can give a fine of $42,000 for mislabeling. I
also got told that FTC can’t do all that work, so YouTube may just
simply change your video to “made for kids” and it will remove the
comment section. Not sure why it has to be applied to every YouTube
version. Browser, App, and even YouTube Kids is a thing. YouTube Kids
existed since 2012/2013 for parents to be fine for kids watching YouTube
videos. Back to the fine, it can happen, and it may occur if you
purposely mislabel your video as “not made for kids” multiple times and
have YouTube’s machine learning detect it. Their AI is also a high
concern. The worst part is we gotta make sure our video has to be
accurate to the label. I know I can do kid friendly content, and saying
it, I know that it means I won’t get the comment section.
I know
comment sections can be harsh on some videos and calm on others. In my
case, my comments are pretty tamed. They enjoy seeing my videos and love
their favorite part about it. It is a sad thing because I get to see
suggestions for my videos and seeing my subscribers enjoying it. That’s
how I met CN100eg and Moviemaker X. They both watch my videos for a long
time. I also have Zaxon Kaito who also watches my videos, and he did
reaction videos on quite a few of them. They are pretty interesting
subscribers, and they aren’t big channels. My channel doesn’t need to be
big, but it matters for being enjoyable for what content I have. With
all that, it’s gonna be different once we reach a deadline for the FTC’s
COPPA policy on YouTube. Having comment section is what makes uploading
video interesting. I already said that bad comments do exists, but most
of my comments are pretty fine and some are funny. I just don’t want to
lose all the great comments. I know I can do a snapshot, but I just
want to leave it so everyone can see. Even if I set my videos as “not
made for kids” and if I don’t get in trouble at all, I would also get
less views because they won’t appear for kids, especially on YouTube
Kids app. Some content can easily be attached the demographic of being
kids, like Lego videos and stuff, but mine are for general audience.
In
the end, I have to put my videos and my own channel as “made for kids”
and be honest about it, so they can at least stay in public. I know
comments are gonna be gone, and I don’t want to get ediger and add curse
words or anything because those aren’t my thing. My video like Iris
Goes to Court is the most insane video ever made by me and all the
violence Iris caused are all cartoon violence. YouTube’s term of
violence for this new rule is mature violence like gore and a lot of
direct violence like Family Guy or Mortal Kombat. Of course, I do have
Kim laughing at violent images in Miraculous Ladybug Alteration and two
behind the scenes videos and I may set those videos as not made for
kids, but I’m still not sure because Google relies on their algorithm
and AIs very much. This is the worst news I got so far about my
channel’s risk. I want to make videos for everybody to see. I am also
deciding to find an alternative video website to upload my videos as a
backup and anyone can watch those videos. I was considering websites
like Vimeo, Peertube, BitChute, and Niconico, but I have to make my
final decision for which one is better suited for re-uploading my videos
incase if something happens to my YouTube channel. It’s always
important to keep your video file and backups so you can re-upload it on
a new channel or another video sharing website. I do hope YouTube and
FTC changes the rules so we can at least keep the comments and have many
channels be free from this mess.
In the meantime, I am gonna
continue doing my next video on Miraculous Ladybug, and let’s see if I
can manage to get some comments before the deadline or something better.
For my Miraculous Ladybug videos, I am open for voice acting roles for those videos. As you guys have already seen, the two videos have their voice filled, but only done by Text-To-Speech programs, like AT&T and Vocalware. They don’t have options for expressions, and just sounds like they’re reading off the script. Not that they sound bland or anything, but they don’t express anything specific like concerning or be surprised, something like that. I only did the yelling by increasing the volume with reverb, but I think actual voice acting would improve a lot. Doing such expressions almost like the actual show would sound better. I am willing to repost my two videos as a redub and use new MMD models on it. Also, I am planning to make another Miraculous Ladybug video next month that is a sequel to the one from August. Open Roles are open for the first two weeks or longer extended to by the end of November.

My MMD Videos with computer voice:
[MMD Ladybug] Juleka Couffaine Vroid WIP
I made Juleka model for the last few days. Latest Vroid Studio update
from this month added one piece dress, but skirt is much narrow and
doesn’t need bone physics, so it was easy to see Juleka walk without
skirt physics going crazy a bit, and the skirt on her shirt is small
anyway. Although, her pants are just leggings with rips by her knees. I
do have few more things before I actually release all the models. My
next video will show all the models I made so far, and after that, I
will release them for download.
Yuki’s Story MMD Special - Page 3
Yuki goes to Minoru’s house on Christmas day to have fun with him and Ayano. It’s a small christmas party, and they spend time while waiting for Minoru’s parents to being fried chicken.

Chapter 81
A week before the last day party, Eru is at her gameroom after school, and sees Yuki and Minoru coming.
Yuki: Hey Eru!
Eru: Hey Yuki and Minoru.
Minoru: I see that you are playing with dices.
Eru: Umm, yes.
She stacks them to stand and touch to see it fall.
Yuki sees Rin and Ren playing Kirby.
Rin: Go grab the fire ones.
Ren: I will need them.
Shirou comes in and sees Rin.
Shirou: Hi Rin!
Rin: Hey Shirou!
Shirou: Mind if I join?
Rin: No problem! Me and Ren are co-oping so you can watch for now.
Shirou: Ok.
He walks to them while Eru pokes the dice again to see it fall.
Yuki: Want to play Mortal Kombat or Splatoon?
Minoru: I pick Splatoon.
Yuki: Ok.
Yuki and Minoru left Eru’s desk.
After Eru pokes another sets of dices, she sees her friends hanging out with each other. She feels alone.
Eru stands up and thinks if she wants to hang with them, but she’s in charge of the gameroom.
Eru: I don’t want to be shy.
She walks to Yuki and Minoru.
Eru: Guys.
Minoru: Yes, Eru?
Eru: …May I play one round with you both?
Yuki: Yes! Just pick up the controller. It’s the three of us now!
Eru: Thanks!
They all played games, and after gameroom ended, Eru sees people leaving, and Rin is about to leave.
Rin: Did you have fun playing with Yuki and Minoru?
Eru: Yes.
Rin: Cool. Are you excited for next friday? The party before summer break.
Eru: I do want to join.
Rin: Good! You don’t want to miss anything there! It’s our last summer party in school! I will be with Shirou, Yuki and Minoru are doing something special to each other, and Retasu is going with Takahashi.
Eru: I see.
They both walk out from the room, and walk together.
Rin: Not to be nosy, but do you have someone you love?
Eru: Umm, no. I don’t.
Rin: It’s fine. I’m not judging you.
Eru smiles.
Rin: We got exams first, and I’m gonna spend time studying during the weekend!
Eru: Me to.
Rin: Do you have summer plans coming up?
Eru: I’m going to Kanto Region next week and visit Akihabara.
Rin: I heard they have great stuffs there.
Eru sees her ride from the window, and proceeds to run. Rin sees her running.
Rin: Uhh? Eru?
Eru exited the building, and heads to her ride.
Rin sees her going in.
Rin: She seems excited, I guess.
Next Wednesday during lunch, Yuki and Minoru are having lunch at the top roof.
Minoru: In the party, we will sign our names on a secret wall with many senior couples.
Yuki: Yep! It will be the best party we ever had in this school.
Minoru: Yeah. So who’s in charge of the party since you won’t be the announcer?
Yuki: Two girls. Lia and Kyanna.
Minoru: Oh yeah, they know how to throw a party.
Yuki: I let them to take over so that I will have a bit more time in the party.
Minoru: That’s a good idea.
Yuki: Not only that, but we are gonna do cool things over the summer.
Minoru: Our last summer break was very fun! It was nice spending with you and our friends.
Yuki: Absolutely.
Minoru: Remember we did a reenactment last year when you came to see my drawings and asked me out?
Yuki: That’s what we wanted something like that to happen from two years ago, and we recorded last year to see the possibilites if we met earlier.
Minoru: Yeah. Are we gonna do something special together besides the secret wall?
Yuki: Umm, I’ll think of something before Friday.
Minoru: All right.
Later after school, Minoru walks with Ayano and they left school.
Ayano: I can’t wait for the party! It sounds like a cool event!
Minoru: It is. You will be happy to see cool stuffs our friends are gonna show.
Ayano: Nice! With Yuki around, I bet she always does something very cool there!
Minoru: We know Yuki. She always having a blast.
Ayano: Yep. I think without Team Phase around, nothing can ruin it.
Minoru: The party will enjoy itself than with them around. That’s what Yuki said.
Ayano: Sounds funny!
In the beginning of Friday, Eru wakes up and stops the alarm from her phone.
Eru: (yawns) The party is today.
She gets up and wears her normal outfit.
As soon Eru is by the livingroom, her butler sees her with her normal outfit.
Butler: Eru, are you supposed to wear school uniform?
Eru: I heard you can wear anything on the party this year.
Butler: All right. And are you fine without a dress?
Eru: It’s just an average party.
Butler: It’s a party you will be going as a senior.
Eru’s parents came to the room.
Father: Good morning Eru!
Eru: Hi Mom and Dad.
Mother: Eru, I think you should wear something fancy if the party allows any clothes.
Eru: Umm, okay.
Near the school property, Minoru and Ayano are walking. Minoru is wearing a cheap tuxedo and Ayano wears her normal outfit.
Ayano: I can’t wait to go in!
Minoru: Me to. Is Sakura coming?
Ayano: Yeah. She’s gonna come with Rin.
Minoru: Cool.
As they entered, they see Yuki with Red cocktail with red shorts.
Minoru: Wow! Awesome!
Yuki: Hey Minoru. This is my first dress, and I got it shortly and feels very comfortable, including a red short shorts inside.
Minoru: Cool!
Ayano: Your first dress?
Yuki: I don’t like dresses, but this one is my only exception.
Minoru: I see.
Yuki: And you in your tuxedo, you look very cute with it. It makes you look nice.
Minoru: Thanks, Yuki.
Yuki: Shall we go in?
Minoru: Yeah!
Yuki: You first.
Ayano sees Yuki and Minoru walking. She then sees Rin and Sakura on her left.
Ayano: Hi Rin and Sakura!
Sakura: Ayano!
Rin wears a frilly dress while Sakura wears her normal outfit.
Ayano: Hey Sakura! We are gonna do a lot of great things today!
Sakura: Yep! Let’s run to the back of the school!
Ayano: Okay!
They both ran off. Rin sees then running.
Rin: Wow.
She sees Eru’s car coming in and Eru got off.
Rin: Hey Eru. Nice dress!
Eru: Umm, thanks.
Butler: You can call me when the party is over.
Eru: Okay.
The butler drives and left.
Rin: Eru, remember we had fun on last year’s party?
Eru: Yes.
Rin: It’s a senior, so we gotta do a lot of activities. You should get to show the peers your talents.
Eru: What talents?
Rin: We got arcades hooked up outside, and you are great at video games.
Eru: The arcades from school?
Rin: Yeah.
Eru: That’s good. I would like to play, but I wanna meet friends too.
Rin: Sounds good.
At the back of the school, we see speakers and hear music. Tables and foods and drinks are in the area.
Kyanna and Lia are at the stage.
Kyanna: I got a surprise for Yuki and Minoru. They want to stay longer here than anyone else.
Lia: What is it?
Kyanna: Just something special. I hear they want to sign their love on the secret wall from the rooftop, and since Yuki is really well known and is a good friend of mines, I want to do something that helps out their relationship.
Lia: That’s a good one. What exactly?
Kyanna: I’ll save it until near the end.
Lia: All right. Should I help?
Kyanna: I was gonna ask, so yes.
Lia: Awesome.
They grab their microphones.
Kyanna: Welcome to Fujiwara’s Summer Party! We got many drinks and snacks at the food table!
Lia: And we got a lot of activities here! You guys will enjoy anything in the party!
Yuki talks with her peers.
Yuki: This summer, I plan plenty of adventures to do. It will be fun.
Boy1: Cool! You rock!
Boy2: I like your dress!
Boy3: What about parks?
Yuki: I plan to go to few cities in this country. I want to go to Akihabara and Tokyo Disneyland. I know I will be going to Kyoto later on to visit my family’s temple.
Boy4: Sounds like a lot of cool stuff!
Girl1: Hey boy, are you gonna be with her on those trips?
Minoru: Pretty much some of it. I also have few trips planned already.
Boy1: We got ours planned too.
Rin and Eru went to the food area to get drinks.
Rin: I got my favorite drink.
Eru: Me to.
Rin sees Retasu coming.
Rin: There is Retasu! I’ll be right back in a little bit.
Rin runs to Retasu.
Retasu: Hi Rin!
Rin: Hey Retasu.
Retasu: Did you see Yuki?
Rin: I didn’t see her, but I bet she’s here already. I saw Minoru’s sister.
Retasu: All right.
They both walk and sees Yuki hanging with her fans.
Retasu: I never saw Yuki wore a dress before.
Rin: Although it’s just a very simple red dress. Nothing frilly, and yet, I bet her fans finds her hot.
Retasu: Pretty much.
Rin: I’m gonna ask.
Rin walks to Yuki.
Yuki: Hey Rin.
Rin: Hey Yuki. When did you get that dress?
Yuki: I got it from few weeks ago. It just looks easy and simple, so I got that and red shorts underneath.
Rin: Of course, you would pick something that simple, for your taste.
Yuki: It was easy to get.
Minoru: What do you think of mine?
Rin: Looks pretty cute.
A while later, Retasu sees Takahashi coming.
Retasu: Hi!
Takahashi: Hello, Retasu.
Retasu: Do you want to get a drink with me?
Takahashi: Yes!
Meanwhile, Eru is looking at the arcades.
Rin sees Eru looking at them and walks to her.
Rin: Eru, did they just bring it?
Eru: I saw them bring it. It’s not plugged yet.
Rin: I see. Did you see Shirou? The blue hair guy?
Eru: No.
Rin: Me and Shirou, Yuki and Minoru, Retasu and Takahashi, and few couples are going to the roof to sign love signatures on a secret wall.
Eru: Ok.
Rin: It would take several minutes. I’m sure you would want to find someone to hang with.
Eru: No thanks. I don’t need a boyfriend.
Rin: I meant spending time with someone. It doesn’t have to be romantic. Speaking of it, why aren’t you into romance?
Eru: I don’t want to be in love with someone because relationships is a big work for me, and I feel it’s very complicated. I don’t want to get pressure or any drama. I’m just afraid of what would happen to me or my future.
Rin: Yuki and Minoru and few couples are doing fine.
Eru: I know. I’m not good with romance. I prefer being single. I just want to have friends because I think it’s easier for me.
Rin: Sounds fine. Sorry for asking you that.
Eru: It’s fine. I do love video games.
Rin: There’s that. Go play the arcades while we are up.
Eru: Okay.
A while later, the friends are at the roof.
Kyanna and Leo are at the secret wall, signing their names in a drawn heart.
Kyanna: There we go! We’re there!
Leo: Nice!
Kyanna: Your turn, Yuki!
Yuki: All right.
They left while Yuki and Minoru go to the wall.
Yuki: Here’s a marker for you. You draw better than me.
Minoru: Thanks.
He grabs the marker, draws a heart, puts stick figures of Yuki and Minoru, hugging. He adds action Yuki stick figure and himself as a drawer. They both sign their names inside it.
Yuki: You made it really good.
Minoru: I know. Let me take a pic of it.
He uses his phone and takes a picture of it.
Yuki: Now we get to keep that photo.
Minoru: And I bet this one will be the best one on this wall in our book.
Yuki: Definately!
They walk out.
Rin and Shirou sign theirs.
Shirou: This is neat!
Rin: It does! I love you!
Shirou: Me to.
Retasu and Takahashi gets to sign it.
Retasu: Forever, we will be together.
Takahashi: Yes. I just added musical notes around the heart.
Retasu: I like it.
Yuki and Minoru are at the gym, being empty.
Yuki: Remember two years ago, we were both here when a party was here?
Minoru: Yes. We were both trying to interact, but it didn’t happen. It was our second party.
Yuki: Our first party was from 2014. I attend, but I didn’t see you.
Minoru: I was pretty lonely. I actually didn’t attend. I only had one or two friends. Leon and Oka was a little later when we became friends.
Yuki: Hmm. I know you were under some issues with teachers who were against you back then, but why didn’t you attend your freshmen summer party?
Minoru: I thought many people thought I was weird because the teachers I had was giving me a hard time. My classmates think I was the only weird person in class, and I thought at the time, I wasn’t gonna enjoy the school because I was afraid of getting worse things.
Yuki: Sounds like an interesting story. I know some non popular kids I met are kinda in the same story, and I would like to make them smile.
Minoru: You seem pretty noble because you want to entertain a lot of people. You seem pretty nice as a popular person. What made you be a noble person?
Yuki: I want to spend time with people who enjoys having fun, and I want them to smile with me. I was willing to help them out against bullies and I hear some stories about unpopular people being the butt of everyone’s jokes, even though they may not deserve it.
Minoru: Were you one of them in the past?
Yuki: As of matter of fact, I had people who were against me or my friends. However, I dealt with them myself, and those problems get solved eventually.
Minoru: Cool. Remember you told me back at my aunt’s house that you dreamed that the party from two years ago, that you saw what happened if we met in the party?
Yuki: Yes. Everyone was happy for us. I’m not psychic, but I think the peers would be happy if I announce my love for anybody, like you.
Minoru: I’m glad your fans understand. Again, how are a lot of them respectful to our relationship from the beginning?
Yuki: I helped some of these guys with their problems. I hang with them, and made sure they get the respect. I don’t want to act popular like the bratty ones. I want to work legitimately to meet a lot of kids here.
Minoru: Sounds like that’s a good reason.
Yuki starts to blush.
Yuki: Well…I remember seeing you around prior to the 2015 summer party. I’m glad we made things better for you. You are able to have more friends, and you smile more often here.
Minoru: I am glad you are willing to help me for almost two years. I wouldn’t know what it would be like if I haven’t met you, but I’m glad we did.
Yuki: Yeah. I learned a lot of many things because of you. You seem pretty helpful too.
Minoru starts blushing.
Minoru: Hehe. I…I’m happy that we stayed together.
Yuki: Same here. I do love doing cool things and all, but it’s even greatful with you around.
Minoru: I love to see you do those activities. That’s why I think you’re the coolest girlfriend.
Yuki: And you are the amazing boyfriend.
They both start kissing while holding each other.
After several second kiss, Yuki and Minoru let go of each other.
Yuki: Wow. It brings me joy.
Minoru: Me to. Want to go back to the party?
Yuki: You bet.
They start going back to the party.
Meanwhile, Eru is playing an arcade with Leon.
Oka: Wow. Eru is doing pretty good.
Leon: I didn’t know you had such a great skills.
Eru: Well, thanks.
Leon: I wonder where is Yuki and Minoru.
Oka: Probably they have something to do.
They both see Yuki and Minoru coming.
Yuki: Hey friends.
Some of her fans comes up to her to talk.
Boy1: You’re gonna play some games?
Yuki: Yes. This is a party, so we must have fun!
Yuki walks to Eru.
Yuki: Eru, you want to play against each other in the arcade?
Eru: Umm, yes.
Yuki: Guys! I’m gonna play against Eru Hibika. She’s pretty good at video games.
Boy2: Hello, Eru!
Girl1: You’re from the game room for after school.
Eru: I am the manager.
Minoru: Let’s watch.
Yuki and Eru are playing capcom fighting games.
Yuki: Three characters?
Eru: Yes.
During the game, Yuki beats Eru on the first round, Eru beats Yuki on the second round, and on the third round, Eru beats Yuki.
Eru: Wow!
Yuki: GG. I seem to won a lot, but Eru deeply studies the mechanics.
Kyanna: Cool!
Eru: Thanks, Yuki.
Minoru: The match was amazing.
Yuki: Yeah.
We see montages of Yuki playing along with her friends, including Rin, Retasu, Takahashi, Shirou, Eru, Leon, and Oka. They do several activities in the entire party.
Later, the party is about to be over, and Kyanna and Lia are on the stage. Kyanna turns on the microphone.
Kyanna: We sure are having fun on this party. Sadly, it is almost over, and this is both of our last summer party here.
Lia: We’re seniors, and we want to make sure you guys are having a good time before we leave.
Kyanna: Get some goods on the tables, and say goodbye to your friends before leaving.
Eru walks to Yuki.
Eru: Yuki.
Yuki: Eru?
Eru: I want to say thanks. Our match.
Yuki smiles.
Yuki: No problem. Maybe we can see each other a bit during summer.
Eru: Yeah. I gotta go.
Minoru: Take care.
Eru nods, and ran off.
Minoru: This is the best party we have.
Yuki: So far. Don’t forget a senior year party before our graduation.
Minoru: Yeah. I’m looking forward to it by spring. I am gonna be sad by the time it comes, because I will miss this place.
Yuki: I see your point. It is our last year, so we gotta enjoy every bit of our year as much as we can.
Minoru: You’re right.
Lia walks to them.
Lia: Hey Yuki and Minoru.
Yuki: Hey Lia.
Lia: After everyone leaves from the party, me and Kyanna have something for you both. It’s gonna be by the courtyard, but go when the party is gone.
Minoru: Is it a surprise?
Lia: You bet.
She runs off.
Yuki: I wonder what that is about.
Minoru: We will just have to wait and see.
Later when almost everyone left the party, Ayano and Shirou are left. Ayano talks to Minoru.
Ayano: Minoru, what are you gonna tell me?
Minoru: Me and Yuki got arranged something after the party, and I’m gonna come home later.
Ayano: Oh. All right. See you at home then.
Shirou talks to Yuki:
Yuki:…Don’t forget to have enough watermelon seeds to pop the ballons from far. That’s how to win the ballon game the next time you play it.
Shirou: Sure. I’ll be going to Rin’s place. See you next time.
Yuki: All right. Bye.
Both Yuki and Minoru went to the running courtyard, and sees the table. Kyanna and Lia are there.
Lia: Hey guys!
Minoru: Wait! You both prepared a special date here for us?
Kyanna: Well, we wanted to. It’s a private one. I cooked some foreign food for you both.
Lia: And I set up the table and chairs.
Kyanna: I also got my small portable player here.
Yuki: Nice! Looks good.
Minoru: Thanks, girls.
Kyanna: No problem. You both like anime music?
Yuki: We do.
Kyanna: I’ll just play it here while you both have fun.
Lia: We got cleaning up to do.
Kyanna: Enjoy!
They both left.
Yuki: Wow. I didn’t even think they will arrange our date here, but all I said is to spend time longer.
Minoru: I guess they care about our relationship.
Yuki: You’re right.
They both eat.
Yuki: They taste great.
Minoru: I sometimes eat foreign food.
Yuki: At times, I do.
Minoru: Yes. I think your gym mates are pretty nice to us.
Yuki: They are. I’ve been with them for pretty long.
Minoru: That’s cool.
They continue to talk while having a date.
